If the GOPe has to have their own candidate lose all the time, then they will go away.

Yep. But they are willing to go to some extremes first.

The Reagan coalition never had McGovernicks and Abortionists on their list.

Have you heard Planned Parenthood does great things, and Code Pink was right about George W Bush.

I get it — why the Dems want to stop Trump. As for the others — McConnell, Rubio, Ryan, etc., the only thing that makes sense is they’re hiding something big and don’t want Trump to expose whatever it is. The last thing they want to do is tangle with Chris Christie as AG.

This might be the man I heard on one of the panels last night or this morning. (My days are a blur of politics!)

The guy said the GOPe should be glad the voters are handling this with ballots and not bullets. (I believe those were his words — if not exactly, then similar.)

He also said that every state GOP organization has established its own election rules. Trump has been careful to play it by the book in every state — by the rules THEY established. And they don’t like that he hasn’t done anything wrong. (I can hear them say, “Drat!”)

“he (Rubio) is not running for his senate office.”

I don’t think he’ll have to run for anything. It seems like he’s cut a deal with the GOPe PTB. They’ve probably promised him something great and cushy in exchange for him going out there and making a fool of himself — do ANYTHING and say ANYTHING to try to bring down Trump. Maybe, for all his hard work, and the loss of his dignity, they’ll give him Priebus’ position.

“Trump is just a battering ram, it is the Americans that are holding him up.”

I love it!

My thoughts too, only I did not like Trumps threat to Ryan last night. That stupid kind of crap talk will do nothing to help along ease the animosity the house and senate have for trump.

Donnie needs to engage brain before operating mouth sometimes.

“Maybe it/s the Canadian/latino lack of self-esteem.”

We were thinking it’s the exact opposite of that. Having lived in CA, about 75% of our acquaintances and co-workers were Hispanic. What we noticed in that culture was that the males, starting at toddler age, were revered, spoiled, and told how wonderful they were. The girl children as a rule got short shrift.

It’s like Rubio’s and Cruz’ mommies and daddies told them, “You can be President some day.” “You can do/get anything you want.” Probably they were seldom told, “No.”

What other explanation can there be? Neither is highly accomplished. (Cruz is more than Rubio, of course.) Still, not Presidential material. What kind of narcissism must be in their heads to take them to the point of saying, “I’m going to run for President of the United States”?

Poor Dr. Carson is so much more accomplished, honest, and good than either of them, and they walk all over him.

Didn’t all of them “take the pledge” to not run third party? I think it was at the first debate.

How in the world did a loser like Reince Priebus get the RNC gig?

Good point..... he/s so typical of the narcissistic personality....the ability to engage others in your activities.....and the sudden but inevitable betrayal by once-loyal associates.

The foremost expert on the condition known as psychopathy, Canadian researcher Dr. Robert Hare, says that narcissistic psychopaths display certain obvious traits, notably a lack of attachment to others, impulsive decision-making, a lack of remorse, a tendency to rationalize what they do and to blame others, a charming and manipulative manner, and a lack of empathy.

Cruz has all of these qualities, along with a verbal fluency that borders on glibness. He/s also arrogant and never fails to grab the opportunity to exploit others.

Even without a formal diagnosis, descriptions of his words and behavior easily fit the prototype.

Interesting re narcissistic psychopaths. Cruz and Rubio both fill the bill.

An overbearing bellhop? Hmmm.

Reminds me more of an organ grinder’s monkey.
