2012 GOP nominee Mitt Romney will be delivering a major speech Thursday denouncing Donald Trump.

FORMER RNC CHAIRMAN MICHAEL STEELE: I don't know why they think this is going to work in the first place. I don't know who they think this is going to influence.

Keep in mind, Mitt Romney lost 3 million Republicans, who didn't even bother to show up and vote for him because they did not support his campaign.

First thing Michael Steele has said in a long time that makes sense.

Before the season started you had all the GOP hopefuls and others making statements as to how the GOP needs to be more inclusive and reaching out to groups to put under the big tent. Trump proved in Massachusetts that he brings to the big tent and they just dont get it, which blatantly shows for all to see that they care only about their control and nothing else, FU

Michael Steele is a joke and as bad as he was as RNC chairman trying to “get jiggy wit it” (10+ years after that was even a saying) Prince Reibus is much worse. Hell they canned his a$$ (Steele) after 1 election cycle and he didn’t even last a full 4 years, where they gave Prince Rei(short)bus 3 election cycles and he is much worse. Why are they scared in firing this dope?

They hope to influence the undecided’s away from Trump. Do not underestimate the ability for the elite to manipulate the people, they have been doing it successfully for some time.

Fox & Friends has previewed Romney’s sore loser speech and it is amazing.
He never showed the venom against Obama as he has mustered against Trump. This is sure to give Trump 10% more in the next polls, because Romney’s pro-establishment pitch will boost Trump’s nomination substantially.

I think the Fairfax GOP ‘squad’ pretty much has used up every silver bullet in their possession. No one believes the national GOP message anymore...the pretenders sitting in the Senate need to start planning a second career....and the lobbyists hunting for their next ‘deal’ with the GOP had best find a new career.

As for Romney’s speech....I don’t understand what exactly it was intended to do or speak to. He evidently is lost on how the public feels and how frustrated folks have become with all the fake GOP gimmicks.

This is unbelievable. The GOP is encouraging a former losing candidate for President to attack the current front runner. It proves one thing: The GOP is NOT interested in winning. They are only interested in keeping things the way they are. And that includes having ineffectual token conservatives like Rubio and Cruz in the party.

The GOP views Donald Trump as an illegal immigrant and someone determined to undermine their sovereignty. They see Donald as a threat to the control they exert over their territory, and they are willing to engage in a very ugly public battle over control of their borders, fiercely defending who gets into the GOP and who is not allowed.

So we see they have the fight in them. We also now see which battles they deem important.

****************************************************

I think that is going to prove to be true .... I am royally pi$$ed at the thought of Mittens doing this & when I hear what he actually has to say (I’ll read about it - not listening because I won’t have a TV afterward), I don’t think my mood will be improved. The GOP elites are making Trump politically “bullet proof” ... whatever is said about him, people are dismissing out of hand immediately because everybody concerned ... GOP elites, Rubio and Cruz, are lying their @sses off about Trump every time I see them opening their mouths.

Quite right. I think the only one I can stand besides Trump, at this point, is Kasich.
