House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi warned Thursday that it wouldn't be wise for Republicans to broker a deal that crowns another Republican candidate as the party's presidential nominee if Donald Trump earns the majority of delegates in the upcoming primaries.
"To the Republicans, if they think they are going to upset the verdict of the people in terms of the election, that can really become a very big Pandora's box," Pelosi said. "If someone has the majority of the delegates, from the votes of the people, I think you change that to your peril."
Rumors have swirled in the Capitol about a plot to dethrone Trump, who has angered the GOP establishment with his brash campaign style, proposal to ban Muslim entrants and a pledge to build a wall on the Mexican border. Republicans have said nothing officially about any plans to use the July Republican National Convention to contest a Trump win.
Instead, GOP leaders are taking shots at Trump hoping to hurt his performance in the remaining primaries in order to deprive him of the 1,237 delegates needed to win the nomination.

Maybe Pewlosi out to be concerned how Killary had a 45 to 1 super delegate lead before even one vote from their peopler was cast. But hey—be sure to vote anyway. It really, really, really counts. LOL

She may be trying to get even with Hillary for something. This sounds like a “cat” thing.
She is right about this, but she has to have an ulterior to have written this. She probably believes the dem position that Trump can’t beat HRC. She is a snake.
She is reporting what she is hearing on the Hill. She is doing it to hurt whomever the GOPe has selected to be the candidate and let voters know what the plan is.
Rumors in DNC circles are that it will be Ryan.
