I feel and have expressed as much with a couple of my close friends in person. we have been Republicans for our entire adult lives. the shock/disappointment/anger at seeing with clear eyes exactly what has been going on all along is an epiphany. I’ve said it before but for me, it is akin to being unplugged from the Matrix. It is ugly and brutal but the truth is better and will prevail. The ossified GOP machine and their supporting cartel, including the media, have met their end game.
