Vanity-Did Trump Preempt Megyn Kelly at the Start?

Posted on 03/04/2016 5:00:34 AM PST by cassiusking

Why did Trump mention "size" and then remind Megyn that Howard Stern was a good friend of Trump and her?

Perhaps it was a preemptive strike to shut Megyn down early. It was an obvious reminder of her interview with Stern when she extolled the virtue of size and the size of her husbands

What do you think? Kelly seemed subdued after that and was the only one not to pile on Trump.

Oh yes he did, and she was on Stern years ago giggling like a slutty schoolgirl. There is a recording of her which totally contradicts her righteous ‘war on women’ crap that she has tried to use against Trump in the past.

Oh she piled on , wasting 5 minutes trying to make Trump University sound like a bigger scandal than Hillary’s email

But maybe Trump made her a little bit wistful
He made Foamio sweat like a pit pony

That whole debate was a massive hit piece on Trump, with lots of planning and collusion. I hope people realize now who our collective enemies are, and its not Trump.

She got into arguments over the university , instead of her job.
The videos they put out were all about Trump
The opening question was about the size of Trumps hands.

FOX news did an awful job.

There are totally contradictory pictures as well.

Oh, okay, it is Friday, assuming there needs to be an excuse.

I agree—Fox did a horrible job.

Rubio did not get one Power Point slide. The other three did.

And almost EVERY question was about Trump!

Why not ask Rubio and Cruz to explain their policies, and not their reactions to Trump’s?

I would have loved to see Chris Wallace put up a slide about Cruz’s VAT tax numbers, especially when Wallace said Trump’s numbers don’t work.

Trump needs no more debates.

And by the way,, the audience was the worst yet—totally out of control. Audiences need to be silent during a debate, and that should be the rule.

It was in years past.

Cruz’s pontification style of speaking was a huge turn-off.

And Rubio has ZERO foreign policy experience.

In fact, Trump has more—when you build in foreign countries, you learn more about the country than any Senator flying in and out on a junket ever would.

Kasich solved all of America’s problems according to him.

But that was 15 years ago—the world was a different place.

Son of Mailman needs to bow out soon.

Good analysis.  Sounds like a good strategy on Trump's part.

And it was subtle enough not that it would not be noticed by the average viewer.

These debates are a game and all the players know it.

But Kelly's lack of attack may also be a shift in Murdoch's strategy -- and move to reconcile with Trump.

Just as Trump is shifting to general election mode now, Fox needs to shift toward supporting the eventual candidate or lose all credibility with conservative viewers.

Bill O'Reilly is the ideological center of Fox News and he's gotten along with Trump quite well.

That David Bowie look is hideous on Megan—she looks every day of 46. Her ingenue days are last decade. FIFTY is coming, Botox bimbo.

My son and I watched and he (a Trump supporter) commented on all of the graphics they had prepared for Trump. He immediately said “ambush”.

I have been leaning towards Cruz but I personally though Kasich was the best person on the stage last night.

My son also thought Kelly looks like a b#@ch. I thought she looked better with longer hair.

In those Black Nightie days Me Gyn Ho Kelly had some meat on the bones in the right places.

Last night she looked Anorexic, her face so gaunt. In other words she is a bone.

Still could see that when Trump said his hands and penis were big Me Gyn Ho Kelly’s eyes lit up.

She definetely wants to find out what Melania is getting.

I think she is horny to get Trumped in the rump

Yes, I felt the same way.  A massive hit piece on Trump.

But Trump's candidate attackers look quite petty in their attacks, especially the cabana boy.

To me, it should just how powerful the special interests and donors are in this race.

And what about qualifications for office? Kasich and Trump are qualified due to their experience in politics and business. But the rookie senators Rubio and Cruz are decided weak. Neither of them has any management experience to speak of.

Why aren't questions about experience discussed in the Fox News debate? They were in the recent CBS one.

Like you suggest, there was probably some collusion going on. And once again, the audience is quite biased.

Yes, she’s having sex with a chair. Smart women know how to have sex anytime anywhere. Ever sit at a conference table with a woman rubbing her knees together? Hey, those meetings can get boring. And exercise bikes? Ha ha... Women in the gym (or at home) have an extra incentive to get plenty of exercise.

That crowd again was out of control. I read only 5% went o the public. Kids in the back making faces, crowd shouting when the debate , if you can call it that was on.

It looks like Kelly is taking hair tips from Rachel Maddow.

I watched only one question last night about the Trump School and this whole 98% liked it, blah blah blah. I think if Trump’s first response was, “Has the case been settled?” Followed with, “as an attorney, you should know better then to speculate on something and what makes it even worse is you are showing your bias by doing this.”
