If he’s going to win, he has to show he can appeal to the broader electorate.

On that, the jury is still out.

Nice try, but Dole already went live and told everyone how bad Cruz is.

Just like your Dear Leader, you Trumpettes flip flop every single day.

Just the other day, we were hearing how The Donald would sweep the NE, today somehow a NE state is magically fits a (true) conservative southern Senator.

Dear Leader? LOL. You and Romney can enjoy Cruz getting 10 extra delegates or whatever from Maine if he wins there. TPA Teddy is still totally noncompetitive Trump in the big states.

OK, now you guys are making me re-think. I went to the recording but my husband erased so I asked him if he listened before he erased, no. I was so sure he said Cruz but now I’m wondering.

Are you one of the ones that whines about Trump supporters being jerks?

You seem to have the market cornered as well as not capable of an intelligent nor rational conversation....just the kind of poster that brings FR into the gutter.

This is from a Cruz and or Trump supporter.

They call it a political campaign in the real world.

With one exception, every primary/caucus has been won by Trump or Cruz. If this continues, any brokered convention should result in one of them being the nominee. Anything else would lead to a schism.

“That’s not how people typically raise their hand to swear an oath. At least not among the allies.”

Great one!

[The GOP electorate in KS is not the mainstream GOP and is a minority of the general electorate.]

RONALD REAGAN’S opponents said the same thing about him.

“Would love to see Trump drop out and throw his support behind Cruz (ha).”
_____________________________________________

After that debate on Thursday, this could start to go very poorly for Trump. If the polls turn South for the Donald, I predict he will quit! He won’t want to spend the money on a losing business proposition...of course, he could go Indie out of spite, but that would cost him more $$$...

“Then you are not a conservative. PERIOD.”

No. It might mean you don’t vote GOP no matter who they give you. It has nothing to do with conservatism and how one might define that.

If Cruz does win the nomination, he has Donald Trump to thank for it.

Trump knocked out former favorite Jeb! and made Cruz look acceptable to a panicked GOP Establishment.

Oh give it a rest. Hillary is no worst than the GOPe. They work together. Obama isn’t a dictator, he had congress’ full support to do what he’s done. He got his SC nominations confirmed by congress. Obamacare is funded by congress. Iran deal was ratified by congress. You keep sending the same politicians in and keep expecting a different result. Cruz or Clinton it really won’t matter that much. Destroying the GOPe with Trump and a self funded campaign that remains political incorrect COULD (it may not) shift things but surely the same politicians won’t change anything

The GOP establishment will have to get behind Cruz if they want to stop Trump.

As much as they hate him, the #NeverTrump movement doesn’t have a viable candidate.

If its going to be a two man race, its Trump and Cruz.

Pretty amazing we’re getting worked up about Cruz getting 12,000 Kansas votes in a country of 300+ million. This caucus thing is a weird deal, IMO.

“conservative” ?

You said “conservative” ? What kind of “conservative” ? The lunatic kind used by libtards since they are such caricatures that they are slaughtered in the generals ?

When the boat is sinking , when there is fire , you have to stop it first . You will look for principles after

[This is a huge win for the GOPe]

The GOPe are registered Republicans. They are entitled to vote for their candidate. Better CRUZ than RUBIO or KASICH.

Cruz is a conservative though. At least in the way in the way it has been defined since Ronald Reagan.
