Thanks for new thread Nikos and giving us a place to hang out on Monday as our time permits. ..Thanks everyone for all the information you share.

I understand Ted Cruz is under the weather. These hectic schedules, stress and close quarters with so many people are all helping to tear the candidates down.

Concord is a short drive from where I lived in Winston Salem for many years. NASCAR fans know it well. charming downtown area. Considered by some suburban Charlotte but they are fierce with their own autonomy

Im more concerned now about all the fraud and dirty tricks. Add that to all the lies that have been around. I am quite convinced the last two presidential elections were overrun with fraud. I recall that even BHO was surprised he won.

Might wait to work in my yard today until after the first rally. It will have warmed up a bit more also

Between the arena and the main exhibit rooms, this place has a very large capacity.

Lots of hotel chains and outlet shoppoing nearby.

Also Lowes Motor Speedway nearby.

Constant barrage of sleazy ads being run in Florida. It worked for Mit against Newt so they are doing it again against Mr Donald

It was heartening to see over 20,000 people come out to see Trump in Orlando on Saturday with TWO day’s notice.

I think people can see past the ads this cycle. The old ways are not working like they did in the past.

The ads did not help Jeb Bush—but they helped his media guy Mike Murphy to the tune of about $ 15 million in his pocket for the media buys.

The GOP-E is using Daddy Warbucks Romney to covertly fund their takedown of Trump.

It will fail spectacularly.

Am pray so. Trump is relying on Twitter and Facebook to counter attack. Will that be enough? Are enough people in Florida, Michigan etc followers to get the messages out that refute the ads

I agree with what you said completely. He needs to start talking about bedrock principles a little bit, rather than talking exclusively about what a deal maker he is.

I think the difference is that more people are on Facebook and Twitter than watch network programming.

Most people watch TV in an “On Demand” mode these days due to their schedules.

Twitter and Facebook can mount a defense against lies very quickly. The old ways of creating an ad to counter another ad takes too long these days.

More people also use the Internet for their news source. Thus lies can be countered more quickly and in more places than waiting for print media to catch up.

For an almost 70 year old, Trump is using social media and the Internet is the most effective manner we have seen for a Republican candidate.

This is old hat to the Dems.

You’re right. The rally turnouts are over-the-top successful. With that audience Trump has the opportunity that the others don’t, i.e., put out a serious message. It’s golden, really.

Focus. Take it to a higher level. (Enough about the hands.)

Get new “material”. For example, there just was a man interviewed on F&F who was fired for expressing his Christian faith. He is/was a Fire Chief in Atlanta — Chief Cochran. Trump says he’ll protect Chistianity and brings up “Merry Christmas”. That’s great and wonderful. Make it more serious, connecting the war on Christianity with Christians losing their careers. Make it current.

Talk more about how the other candidates’ donors are the ones running the government behind the scenes. It’s easy for us wonks to tie together things like the high cost of drugs being the result of politicians calling in favors in return for financing campaign. It isn’t easy for non -wonks; make it so easy that they can see a flow chart in their heads.

Get other people out there speaking about the personal charitable things he’s done that he himself won’t speak about.

Stress that he does have SOME military background, even if only military school. Show photos of him in uniform; it puts images in people’s heads. None of the Cubans have any military experience; neither does Mitt or Kasich.

Go Trump!

I hope he comes out strong and denounces the GOP and Romney trying to steal the election.

Just wish the Cspan video from 1991 where he schools congress on how just a couple phrases in their tax bill destroyed the economy would be made available to all. So knowledgeable and professional. None of the entertainer.

“So much force against Trump, but I believe he will emerge the victor.”

If God be for us, who can be against us?

A smidgen more discipline and organization. It’s beyond comprehension to get this far alone on just his wits and force of personality but so many forces aligned on a single target - it’s a a lot to handle.

The ads here in SW Florida this morning are brutal and non stop with Fox News being the biggest culprit. Trump needs our prayers for sure. They are such slime.

I went to ONE Charlotte 500... I never caught the NASCAR bug and found it unpleasant to be there ..CROWDED, hot, dirt flying, L-O-N-G, parking/driving nightmare... Still enjoyed the cars and the drivers and teams. My cousin is an orthopedic surgeon in Charlotte area (Lake Norman) and has had many of the drivers/teams as his patients.. Gets invited to their social things. He really isn’t a big fan either but catches the spirit more than I did.

In 2012 Mit stole
Florida right out from under Newts nose Even changed the rules to get the job done. It’s the Gopee machine he is fighting. The same machine another facet he has been fighting to get zoning changes etc done for his properties
But it’s not just Mit. He’s only the visible head of the snake

I worry about voter fraud there to Kit cat.

With all the union people one would hope there would be a lot of support for someone who offers to turn things around economically BUT who knows the lies that are readily accepted from TV, radio. A lot of people spend more time in front of TV than on the computer I have observed
