Donald Trump defiant as GOP leaders fight to stop him
LA Times ^ | March 6, 2015 | Michael Finnegan

But since the Republican donor class fell into a panic after Trump dominated last week’s Super Tuesday contests, the pugnacious front-runner has, fittingly, taken an in-your-face approach to its assault on his candidacy, including millions of dollars in advertising against him.

And he has warned the GOP establishment that its attacks risk turning off his huge following.

Cruz should speak out against the GOPe. Isn’t he the one who allegedly says he fights them all the time? This is ripe for him right now.

GOPe pigs will defend their place at the trough until they skewered and roasting on a spit.

Cruz is a co-conspirator in this entire mess. It’s clear where his allegience lies.

I have been following politics for 25 years, and have never seen the GOP fight this hard against anyone. Certainly not any Democrat. I guess when cheap labor and foreign giveaways are at stake they grow some balls

I’ve been waiting and hoping for that too. It would allay some of my mistrust for him. So far, no go. Cruz’s past theatrics in Congress don’t count with me. They were too calculated and ineffectual except for publicity value.

EXACTLY.

Cruz supporters need to wake the hell up. Your candidate is going to put

the hildabeast in the oval. We’ve been telling them this for months and they either don’t want to hear it or DONT CARE.

Donald Trump is doing exactly what Michael Bloomberg did. He is using the Republican Party as a vehicle to obtain high office. Trump like Bloomberg had no prior history with Republicans, held almost no positions or ideals in common with the core values of the Republican electorate. Yet both billionaires are able not only to bypass the seven to ten thousand privileged connected Republican establishment, but they manage to attack huge numbers of Democrats and Independents to vote Republican in a general election.

Check this out, for whatever it’s worth. Certainly not anything different than what we see posted about Trump over and over and over;

The Power Behind Ted Cruz Election Fraud (probably tin foil but interesting)

Ted Cruz is Scared (very thought provoking)

Not trying to be antagonistic, but has Ted Cruz come out and spoken against what Romney and the GOPe are doing?

Time to start donating to Trump.

No, no, no. He's self-funding. And he's really, really rich. He doesn't need chump change from losers.

Yes, everything points to that being true. Ted WILL NOT get the crossover votes Trump is actually getting. This reality is evidenced in the caucus vs open primary states.

Honestly, I’d like to see the Donald and Cruz work together - ‘fight the power’ type campaigning. Since Romney stepped in, I think both these candidates need to team up.

The Donald has been up against smarter adversaries than the RNC and their flacks, I am sure. He will prevail.

“And he’s really, really rich.”

That is true, only a jealous, envious loser would disagree.
