Stopping Trump is obviously a high priority for Republicans who honor the Constitution.

Nothing says honoring the constitution like running a Canadian national.

Sadder because he doesn’t support Trump?

No.

Sorry, doc. GOPee poisoned its own name.

If you don’t concur with this, then the premise of your entire piece is wrong.

Hey jaz usa mo, I like your home page, I like it a lot. The usual freeper posts have become so lame that I've started to look further into the individual posters and have created a small database of profile info. Not intending to be negative, not in the least, after all we are all freepers and I respect that. I also realize that we are very frustrated with the constant lies and our various sources of information is from the biggest storytellers of all. Causing us all to stab and pound at the keys while mumbling our most hateful words.

When we watch the debates and observe first hand the magnificent rallies with Trump as the attraction, we are at least getting statements straight from the candidates mouths. Now that is not to say that we are hearing the truth but we can also watch, the eyes, the shifting stance and maybe, just a little of the sweat that is sometimes occur.

Now Mr. Sowell has become a problem for me. His comments are just copies of comments that are copies of previous inane comments. It appears that all the words are used up but he has a contract and needs a quick 500 of the good stuff to honor his contract. Poor soul, Mr.Sowell.

But I notice that the comments are taking on a new personality. In the recent past, certain code words have been popping up on a regular basis, words that say for example, "I know that Mr. Sowell is a super intellect, but"; always feeling that it is necessary to make an excuse for the drival about to be read.

Examples if I may of posts taken from the thread of his offering just last week where the poster just had to start his post with ...

man very highly respected

I love Thomas Sowell

I respect Dr. Sowell

Sowell has a brain and knows how to use it

I always liked Thomas Sowell

I have respect for his intellect

I respect Dr. Sowell too

I think he understands it quite well. He’s written quite a bit about it.

He just doesn’t agree with your understanding.

:)

It’s not JUST that Mr Trump loses to Hillary in virtually every poll, it’s that almost every other Republican candidate beats Hillary in those same polls. Even the very few where the other candidates also lose to Hillary, they lose by a closer margin.

What all the pundits give up on Hillary's email scandal and her poor health and conceding the nomination to her

She should be getting hammered in editorial after editorial and by the candidates

Yep.

“Poisoned Republican Brand” is what led to Trump.

Stopping Trump is obviously a high priority for the Republican establishment, as shown by their biggest gun, Mitt Romney, suddenly coming out swinging against Trump in the media.

Uh, Mitt Romney is the republican party's "biggest gun"? Can someone tell me exactly what the hell this is supposed to mean? What has Romney done on the national level except lose an entirely winnable presidential contest against an incredibly beatable candidate?

"Lots of nonGOPe Republicans on this site - are you sure you want to go with that?

Good point. I clarify: GOPe.

Apologies to all Republicans who are as mad at the party as I am.

When I find myself disagreeing with Thomas Sowell, it makes me want to be vary cautious.

I think back to my dirt bike trail rides in South Dakota. At first I notice how beautifully groomed the trails are, then I noticed the massive bison 'pies' everywhere and realize how the trails are groomed.

I continued to ride the trails while exercising extreme caution, lest I be surprised by the groomers.

I do disagree with the good Dr. on this as well, not without serious trepidation.
