Marco Rubio Campaign in Disarray as Questions Forcibly Surface

FULL TITLE: Marco Rubio Campaign in Disarray as Questions Forcibly Surface About His Viability as Presidential Candidate

-----

The presidential campaign of Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) is in disarray as the first-term Florida Senator’s window of opportunity for the White House seems to be slamming shut.

Questions about his supposed viability as a presidential candidate forcefully surface, even inside his own inner circle, amid horrendous performances by the establishment-backed candidate.

CNN’s Jamie Gangel and Tal Kolpan reported late Monday:

A battle is being waged within Florida Sen. Marco Rubio’s campaign about whether he should even remain in the Republican presidential race ahead of his home state primary on March 15, sources say. Rubio himself is ‘bullish’ on his odds of winning the critical primary, despite some advisers who are less hopeful and believe a loss there would damage him politically in both the short- and long-term. Publicly, the campaign is maintaining they are still a contender in this race, touting a Sunday win in Puerto Rico’s primary that delivered Rubio 23 delegates. But privately, the campaign is having a debate about whether he should remain in the mix — even for his home state of Florida’s primary.

Gangel and Kolpan quoted a source familiar with such discussions inside the Rubio campaign—specifically that he should drop out before Florida to protect his dwindling political future—as saying that Rubio “doesn’t want to get killed in his home state.” That source told CNN that in Florida “a poor showing would be a risk and hurt his political future.”

Good.

Marco, get out of Ted’s way. There’s only one man who can save the conservative movement from the short-fingered liar, and you’re not the guy.

Weird, how do you get your news?

Cruz got 2 primary states and you said I lied about that.
You then said he was not a trial lawyer, but a Constitutional one, weird Obama claims that too so it must be alright in your mind.
Now the Dems are fighting to get Cruz out, so point to me where they are running AD’s, show me an AD. Hell if you think the Dems want either Trump or Cruz then you need to do some fact checking.\however the establishment is paving the way for Cruz, once he does their dirty work they will stab him in the back like Cruz did to Carson and possibly Rubio.

Actually, I wouldn’t say anything about what process was used by which states. It’s just dumb.

Do you hear me saying ‘trump can’t win in caucus states’ — NO, because he has. Good on him. It’s a non-argument.

Lawyers and plumbers are both tools to get a job done. The work is often stinky sometimes the dross gets stuck on you.

It doesn’t make them bad people. They have a skillset and education that is necessary from time to time.

I’d much prefer having a constitutional lawyer at the helm than a trial lawyer or a casino owner.

Rubio is already accusing Cruz of being behind the “dirty tricks” thing again. I hope Rubio comes in last in Fla. It would be karma

I never said you lied. - until now.
Obama claims - EXACTLY.
Cruz Proves.
The Dems prefer trump in the general. Harry Reid has said he can work with trump.

Cruz didn’t stab anyone in the back. Carson’s guy stabbed him in the back. Trump stabbed Carson in the face with the ‘child molester’ comment.

I’ll buy tickets to see that if you ever have to go to court. I’ll even pitch in on court costs.

I suppose he could win if the votes are split between Trump and Cruz, leaving Rubio with more votes than either. Not likely, but a possibility.

Are there counter ads? Rubio had an effective campaign of TV ads and mailed flyers in Iowa.

Yesterday there were 3 AD’;s in a row attacking Trump by the establishment.
Cant even turn on the radio or TV without hearing lies now.

Trump himself is down in the mud.

No one had to force him. He climbed down there all by himself.

Yes, Cruz is the proven conservative.

How do we know he stands up to the establishment?

Because he has done so.

Trump had him pegged on day one. He’s disloyal. He should have backed Bush, and frankly, Cruz should have backed Trump.

BTW did you see the New York polls? Trump 27 pts ahead. Are there any head to head polls against Clintone?

We are going to have a great candidate and we’re going to crush Hillary in the election!
March 5, 2014 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 3/5/2016, 6:03:33 PM by Jim Robinson

Folks, we need to keep our eye on the prize and settle down. We are going to have a great pro-America candidate whether it’s Cruz or Trump, and we’re going to crush the godless America-hating Marxist/fascist felon, Hillary Clinton, in the general election! And that’s just a fact.

And that’s the bottom line.

We are finally going to secure our borders and start helping repatriate the illegal aliens to Mexico or where ever they came from. And we’re going to tighten up and start enforcing our immigration laws, including ending sanctuary cities and possibly ending anchor babies. Both of our leading candidates agree on that.

And we’re going to repeal Obamacare, cut taxes, cut spending, cut regulations, cut the government, cut the debt, cut the global balonyism, cut the P/C crap. We’re going to cut the EPA, cut the education dept, cut a whole lot of unconstitutional stuff out of the federal government and let the states control education and other issues that the constitution reserves to them. Both of our guys agree on that.

We’re going to pay more attention to trade deals and get better deals for American industry and American workers for a change. We’re going to bring back capital, bring back manufacturing, bring back jobs! Cutting taxes, cutting government, rolling back regulations and replacing socialism with capitalism will see to a booming Reaganesque economy and that will generate prosperity and jobs. Cruz, Trump and all of us agree on all of that.

We also agree that we want pro-life, pro-family, pro-constitution, pro-America judges. Both our candidates agree with us on that.

We also want to rebuild our military and make it the most powerful force for peace and defense on the planet. We emphasize peace through strength and do not use our military for nation building or social engineering. We understand it’s for blowing the crap out of terrorists and war mongers who wish to do us harm. And both of our candidates are on board for that.

Hillary stands for the exact opposite on all of the above!!

This primary is going to be over soon and we’re all going to have to make a decision. No matter whether Cruz gets it or Trump, we must unite behind OUR candidate and the AMERICAN side and do all we possibly can to get him elected and send the unindicted felon and all around America-hating, liberty-hating traitor, Hillary Clinton to her well deserved next term—in jail.

I say we drop the vitriol against each other and against our leading candidates as of now. We’re only serving to harden the hearts of our natural allies against us and from this point forward, the hit pieces will not change minds or votes, but will possibly feed the enemy propaganda machine.

Lighten up and bring some joy back into our lives and peace on our board.

We’re among friends here.

Thank you all very much.

God bless.

CNN started the Ben Carson rumor which ridiculously got blamed on Ted Cruz.

CNN started the Rubio getting out rumor... and Rubio stormed over to CNN to demand a retraction.

And now Ted Cruz is once again being blamed for a CNN rumor?
