This is about two moves before checkmate. If Cheryl Mills takes the fifth, for example, the prosecutor can approach the bench with the order for immunity for her. They can force her to either answer the question, truthfully, or go to jail for either perjury or obstruction of justice.
They know the answers, they have other proof. Now they are squeezing the witnesses to get an iron-clad case.
Is this the FBI or the Judicial Watch case ? The more investigations...the more better and the more chances for a criminal referral.

Mills and Abedin should remember Jim and Susan McDougal, who kept quiet for the Clintons and ended up in prison (both of them) and mysteriously dead, in Jim’s case.
Susan eventually got a pardon for Bill, but Hill may not even get that chance if not elected.

There is one other odd piece to the story.
The State Dept IG is still investigating and getting no help from the players. Eventually, I think that he will turn to the security people and deem the players (minus Hillary) as unable to hold a security clearance. In this case...they will all be sent a letter noting that they can no longer hold a secret or top secret clearance under any gov’t job. End of all gov’t service connections. That’ll arouse these players and their lawyers but you can’t fight this unless you blab to a judge.
There is also this odd feature. There are classified passages from top secret message traffic in these Hillary unclassified emails from certain staff members....who DON’T hold a top secret clearance. This is puzzling to explain because they wouldn’t have access to such computers or traffic, unless someone gave them a password and log-on. In security rules, this would be a massive violation and you’d be dragged into some court to explain that detail or face some consequences.
They can all go and try to run out the clock, but come January....I think President Trump will appoint a independent counsel and it’ll be harsh deal for some people to get through unless they blab on the details.
