Do we know for a fact that a grand jury has been convened?Didn't say that they had been or that I knew such. Only that they are the ones who indict. Not the FBI. Posted info came direct from the FBI website.

You make it sound like it's all up to the grand juryOnly the indictment. The FBI works with whatever Gov't attorney presents evidence to the grand jury. After that, the FBI is not really involved. Check the FBI website. The process is there.

Some conservatives are pinning their hopes on a mass protest or resignation by the FBI a la the infamous Saturday Night Massacre during the Watergate scandal.
In this permissive society where every dog looks only after his own food bowl, I don’t know if there is a culture within the FBI that would prompt that reaction.
