DOJ explores 'action' against climate-change deniers

Attorney General Loretta Lynch said Wednesday that she has explored ways to “take action” on turning climate-change denial into a federal crime.

Democrat Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse used a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing to liken companies that refute certain environmental studies to the tobacco industry once downplaying the correlation between smoking and cancer. The Rhode Island senator then asked Lynch why the Obama administration has “done nothing” to civilly pursue energy companies in court.

“This matter has been discussed. We have received information about it and have referred it to the FBI to consider whether or not it meets the criteria for which we could take action on,” Lynch replied, CNS News reported Wednesday.

No one can convince me that Wall Street isn’t pulling the strings on this. Way too much money to be made here.

I’d be curious to know how much Goldman Sachs has ALREADY projected they’ll make trading carbon futures and whatever other revenue streams they see in the existing template for the legislation.

Wall Street was Hitler’s friend, too..!
Fact.

Heaven forbid that anyone has an opinion that is at odds with the liberal party dogma- think Norks, Iran, Cuba, Stalin, Hitler, Pol Pot, China, and a host of similar entities- time to build those reeducation camps!!!

Kinda makes you swell with pride that a lot of us went to a lot of trouble to help regain control of the senate doesn’t it. Oh, wait. Never mind. And the gopE still doesn’t get why the natives are not just restless, they’re pissed.

No amount of logical reasoning will begin to sway the entrenched prejudices of the devotees of anthropogenic climate change. The legal authorities of his day had forced Galileo to swear that the Universe did, in fact, have earth as its center, and enforced their judgment. He was tried by the Inquisition, found “vehemently suspect of heresy”, forced to recant, and spent the rest of his life under house arrest.

Perhaps Galileo was fortunate not to have been put on the rack. An all-powerful ruling authority can be ruthless and relentless in pursuit of conformity.

Congress shall make no law...abridging the freedom of speech...

This is the Obama administration. Congress doesn't make the laws. Agencies of the executive branch make the laws. They can make dissent over the official doctrine of climate change into a crime.

But I think the initial goal is to shake companies down for money. There isn't room in the prisons to lock up all the private citizens who express skepticism about climate change. At most they will lock up a few big-name "deniers" to intimidate everyone else.

"Instead of subsidizing … the oil industry, we should be investing in solar and wind and battery technology.”

NONE of it should be subsidized.

’Green’ debacle: Tens of thousands of abandoned wind turbines now litter American landscape

Literal beacons of the "green" energy movement, giant wind turbines have been one of the renewable energy sources of choice for the US government, which has spent billions of taxpayer dollars subsidizing their construction and use across the country. But high maintenance costs, high rates of failure, and fluctuating weather conditions that affect energy production render wind turbines expensive and inefficient, which is why more than 14,000 of them have since been abandoned.

A direct line of descent from the Establishment insisting that the sun revolved around the earth and taking ‘legal action’ and more against the deniers who claimed the earth revolved around the sun.

But by then the climate change scam will have made the scammers untold billions.

And evidently put quite a few deniers behind bars.

Attorney General Loretta Lynch said Wednesday that climate change rots your mind. I find it hard to impeach her reasoning : )
