Cruz Bypasses Trump In New Attack And Goes Straight After His Voters- ‘Voters Who…’

Sen. Ted Cruz identified Wednesday what he believes is one of the main causes Donald Trump has outperformed in many of the Republican primary contests to date — low-information voters who are not really engaged in the process.

Cruz, who has made a hard play for evangelical voters since launching his candidacy, has been thwarted in the south by Trump, who has carried a surprisingly large percentage of those faith voters.

“If it’s not for evangelicals in the deep South keeping Donald Trump alive, you’re on your way to becoming the nominee. Would you agree with that assessment?” asked CBN’s David Brody.

“Donald has done well in the Southeastern states,” Cruz conceded. “He has had a good base of support. We’ve done well as well. We’ve been typically second in each of those states, and we’ve racked up delegates.”

“Listen, Donald does well with voters who have relatively low information, who are not that engaged and who are angry and they see him as an angry voice,” the Texas senator added. “Where we are beating him is when voters get more engaged and they get more informed. When they inform themselves, they realize his record. He’s what they’re angry at.”

Way to, Teddy. Insult Trump supporters and that’s sure to get them to jump on board with you. /s

Cruz complains about all the Trump supporters who are 'not engaged'. You know, those supporters that show up in the thousands and thousands to his rallies while Ted barely fills a church.

Those supporters, Ted?

The desperate Cruz thinks he can beat Trump by belittling Trump/s
army. Besides, Cruz, himself, has such exemplary character traits (/snix).

<><> Cruz/s industrial strength narcissistic personality.

<><> his lifelong self-absorption.

<><> putting himself first above others,

<><> always acting like he is better than the rest of humanity.

<><> a snob in spades....feeling he is destined for greatness.

<><> Cruz wouldn/t play team sports b/c he/d share the glory with others.

<><> His vaunted debate championship was not in the National Debate Tournament of 2-person teams;

<><> Cruz debated in a Canadian tournament where he received all the credit himself.

<><> his Senate reputation where most of his colleagues despise him....is well-deserved.

=======================================

Or maybe Cruz will win it all wearing his Mounty uniform?

Cruz thinks I’m dumb for supporting Trump.

Think I’ll pass on Cruz/Beck.

Ted is lying through his teeth in this video. Trump DID NOT support Carter over Reagan. Thee is written proof of that. He conveniently left out all the donations to Republicans, including himself. What a slime ball - what a lying, POS he is. And, you believe his lies? God help you!

Ted just setting the record straight. Sorry Trumpers if the truth hurts.

Trump fills stadiums. Cruz fills churches.

Who's supporters are not engaged?

Ted didn’t throw it at Trump. He threw it at Trump supporters. Majorly dumb.

I read the posts author before the post, and skip Happy Rains and a few others. Life is good.

Sadly, many - not all of course - of trumps supporters are no different from the vacuous hordes that drank the hopenchange kool-aid. It’s just a different flavor.

Blue-collar voters certainly make up the bulk of Trump’s large coalition, but he is also doing very well among Republicans with college degrees. In six of the statewide GOP exit polls so far, Trump was the most popular candidate among college-educated voters. In another six, he was their second-place choice. (Only in Oklahoma did Trump fall out of the top two among those with college degrees.) A large number of college Republicans count themselves as Trump supporters as well.

Still, voters without a college education are Trump’s core base of support. More non-college-educated voters than ones with college degrees have supported Trump in every single primary and caucus so far, according to exit polls. In those states, voters without degrees were over 11 percentage points more likely to support Trump, on average. Trump has yet to reach a majority in any state, but he won over 60 percent of blue-collar Republicans in Massachusetts on Super Tuesday, per those exit polls.

"you’re losing me Ted."

Doubt he ever had or would ever have had you.

The low-information voters gave us Obama and now will give us Trump!

Trump was a private citizen. Cruz was a Senator for Coker Bill and TPA and claiming that as a Constitutional scholar he was unaware he was a Canadian citizen until 18 months ago. Or now taking the Bush dynasty into his campaign. But of course that is all ok with Cruz supporters because he doesn’t call them stupid...YET.
