Obama Mocks Cruz: 'Where Else Could a Boy Born in Calgary Run for President of the United States?'

At tonight's state dinner with Canada, President Obama took a swipe at Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz, who was born in Canada.

Via the pool report:

Pool was escorted into the East Room at 8:32, where POTUS had already begun delivering his toast. POTUS spoke for about 7 minutes[.]

The toast was filed with jokes. Among them: "If things get out of hand, remember the prime minister used to work as a bouncer."

Referencing singer Justin Bieber, POTUS said Trudeau in America may well be "the most popular Canadian named Justin."

POTUS also talked about shared values of equality and opportunity, saying that's having an effect on the 2016 presidential election.

"Where else could a boy born in Calgary run for president of the United States?"

No, they didn’t.

The causes were dismissed for legally technical reasons. One was dismissed for failure of the petitioner to serve copies of the petition on the respondents.
The matter has yet to be presented to a judge and determined on its merits.

From Obama’s 2008 campaign website:

“As a Kenyan native, Barack Obama Sr. was a British subject whose citizenship status was governed by The British Nationality Act of 1948. That same act governed the status of Obama Sr.‘s children.”

So if a natural born Brit can be president, why not a natural born Canadian, or a natural born Cuban? Obama has governed as if he is above the law, because the establishment elite allowed him to do so. Today we have the same in Rubio & Cruz, men who will, if elected, also govern as if they are above the law because the establishment has allowed them to. Tonight's debate was a real eye opener, especially on foreign policy where both Rubio & Cruz's answers prove they will act in that area, as if they are above the Supreme law of the land, the United States Constitution.
