At tonight's state dinner with Canada, President Obama took a swipe at Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz, who was born in Canada.
Via the pool report:
Pool was escorted into the East Room at 8:32, where POTUS had already begun delivering his toast. POTUS spoke for about 7 minutes[.]
The toast was filed with jokes. Among them: "If things get out of hand, remember the prime minister used to work as a bouncer."
Referencing singer Justin Bieber, POTUS said Trudeau in America may well be "the most popular Canadian named Justin."
POTUS also talked about shared values of equality and opportunity, saying that's having an effect on the 2016 presidential election.
"Where else could a boy born in Calgary run for president of the United States?"

The IL case progressed to Cook County Circuit Court, where the court dismissed the case because the objector failed to have Cruz personally served.
The IL election board "ruled on the merits" by not addressing the objector's arguments or legal citations.

Look at all the freepers agreeing!
We're not exactly agreeing.
There is a chance that Dumbo was born in Hawaii.
But you see, Dumbo can afford to laugh because Cruz brings to the table two problems ( foreign born, foreign parent ) rather than Dumbo's one problem ( foreign parent ).
Foreign parentage was unprecedented until Dumbo came along. That alone disqualified them.

In the early days when Trump and Cruz were lovey-dovey, Trump suggested, several times that Cruz get this taken care of sooner than later.
In typical Cruz fashion, Cruz, again exercised poor judgement and did nothing. Now it appear that this situation is starting to become an issue. I have no sympathy for Cruz's arrogance.

Where can an Arab who pretends he is half black and not a natural born citizen himself become President of what used to be a large, respected country?
Barack HUSSEIN Obama has gone birther.

They won’t let that stop a good argument. There are still 54 more to rule on the issue!

Well that was a witty retort.
It was proportional to your capacity to handle it. I try not to go too hard on posters with intellectual deficits.

Three state courts have ruled in favor of Ted Cruz's natural born status - FL, NY, and IL.
"Ruled" ??? That word does not mean what you think it means.
There are however several Supreme Court rulings with clear opinions on 'foreign born' and none of them you will like.

No I’m fairly certain I know what screw off means.
I’m wondering how it feels to be on the same side as Obama? I’ve never been there, but both you and Trump have.

Just curious: The children that have been born outside the U.S. because their American parents have been stationed overseas while serving in the military-—Are they American citizens?
