Bush: Why I'm supporting Ted Cruz for president (Neil Bush)
Houston Chronicle ^ | 3/10/16 | Neil Bush

For the record, I was heartbroken when my brother Jeb dropped out of the race for president, not just because he's my brother but because he was clearly the best-qualified candidate, in both experience and temperament to lead the nation.

But I've moved on and now two things motivate me to act with urgency to support Ted Cruz. First, Donald Trump must be stopped. He cannot win against even a flawed Hillary Clinton and his style doesn't reflect the best of American values, including service above self. And second, it is very clear that the only viable option to unifying the Republican Party before the convention is Ted Cruz. Let's face it, Sen. Cruz was not my first or even my second choice among this year's crop of Republican candidates.

-snip-

Bush, the third son of President George H.W. Bush, is a Houston based businessman and founder of the Barbara Bush Houston Literacy Foundation. He is a member of national finance team for Republican presidential contender U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz.

including service above self

This coming from the Cruz campaign reeks of hypocrisy. Donald Trump is a 69 year old billionaire that is giving up EVERY THING in order to try and straighten up our very messed up country. He loves his business and he is giving that up to serve. The White House will be a step down from Trump Tower. AF1 is a step down from Trump Force 1.

Team Cruz get slimier every day and that is not an easy thing to do.

What is Cruz giving up? His seat in the Senate, hypocrite.

Bush’s could be treated with anti-biotics and common sense. Clintons are like Herpes.

It is very cringe-worthy.

Beck and Bush just make Ted look bad. No, not bad, more like leaning towards crazyville.

Its very hard to abandon a candidate you believed in but I think the Bush family and GOP may turn some voters away. Guess we’ll see.

Bush and Beck aren’t doing it, Ted is doing it to himself! It’s who he is.

” First, Donald Trump must be stopped.”

I voted for Cruz in the primary. Will vote for him if he wins the nomination. Will vote for Trump if he wins the nomination.

But this “Stop Donald Trump” crap needs to stop. If anyone wants to know why the republican elite is lower than the lowest rat, that statement says it all. They could just as easily said, they are supporting a different candidate because his policies are better. But to openly come out with “Stop Donald Trump” is reason enough to never support republicans again.

Real reason ole Neil is supporting Cruz and are afraid of Trump getting in to the WH is obvious, the Bush clan doesn’t want to get prosecuted for their crimes against the US and the American people.

Cruz was just bought by the Bush machine. Neil Bush could care less about Ted Cruz, as with the entire Bush family from Prescott on it is about the money. All Neil is in it for is moving his brother’s and the Bush family financiers who include the Saudi royal family over to Cruz so Neil can bundle money for Cruz for a COMMISSION.

Neil Bush never worked a day in his life.

I’m glad I didn’t scam people out of a billion and a half dollars, and avoid prison because of who my daddy was.

Sometimes people do things so bad they should never be allowed in leadership roles.

Sure, this endorsement will give the Cruz campaign just the shot in the arm it needs.

Someone should tell Neil that the American taxpayers want the 1.3 billion that he and his cronies cost us 30 years ago (with interest and adjusted for inflation).

4 DAY COUNTDOWN.

The clock is running, all forces are arrayed, the turrets are already hot but continue firing, at the one man Hillary does not want to run against.

FLORIDA looms for the GOPE, the Globalists, the Democrat PACS, the Republican PACS, all the print media and TV aligned against TRUMP.

Praying here that TRUMP can match the 1237, or else as Ben Ginsberg says the Whip operations against him, on the floor of our Republican Convention, will be something like we’ve never seen and we can only hope it is concluded before the hotel room reservations expire.

All this over TRUMP perhaps falling 2% short of 1237.

Neil Bush is the guy Roger Clinton would have been if Roger had an I.Q. above room temperature.

Ted, if you’re listening, please dump this guy and focus on being Trump’s successor.
