While Ted Cruz proudly proclaims he is an Evangelical Christian, his campaign takes pains to hide the truth that Cruz and his pastor father, Rafael Cruz are Pentecostal Christians, a fact further hidden by having Ted and Heidi Cruz’s belong to the congregation of First Baptist Church, a Southern Baptist church in Houston, as their home church. Both Cruz’s parents, his father Rafael a Cuban-born immigrant, and his mother Eleanor, born in Wilmington, Delaware, grew up in Catholic families. Both were among the millions of that left the Catholic Church since the 1960s to embrace Pentecostalism, a Christian movement estimated to make up 4.4 percent of the U.S. population, accounting for some 13 percent of evangelical churches in the United States.

Matt Drudge is starting to look like a religious bigot. I get Drudge doesn’t like Cruz for President but this stuff by Drudge is crap! I don’t like Cruz for President either, I think Cruz is a lying sleazeball bought and paid for establishment con artist that cannot be trusted and I don’t care if anybody doesn’t like my take on Cruz at all. BUT.... to attack Cruz became he is Pentecostal and speaks in tongues is bigotry and ugly. How many millions of Americans are Pentecostal and speak in tongues? To attack Cruz with this is to attack all Christians who are Pentecostal and speak in tongues. Being baptized in the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues is Christian and is biblical Christianity. So to me it is a plus for Cruz, and he has few pluses.

Next. As for this “Cruz is the anointed one of God” and this Dominionist crap it is just that...Crap with a capital C as in Cult. It seems Cruz senior and Cruz junior have taken something good from God, the baptism of the Holy Spirit and added this cultish crap. God can’t be pleased.

Last week, Beck praised Ted Cruz as the man who could get America through the rapture.

"Fall to your knees and pray to God to reveal to you what the hour is," Beck proclaimed at a Cruz rally in South Carolina. "This is your last call, America! Stand, stand with the man I believe was raised for this hour, Ted Cruz!"

Beck is totally over the edge. He needs to be Baker Acted for his own good and Cruz needs to disavow himself from that fruitcake.

Why wouldn’t they lay their hands on Cruz. Beck’s religion believes in laying on of hands and anointing with oil and apparently Cruz believes in fasting since Beck called for a fast and Cruz didn’t rebuff him.
