Cruz believes in freedom of religion. In other words, supporters can practice their religion freely. Apparently the critics want the First Amendment done away with or something. I come from a Baptist background, but many in our church are a little more charismatic at times. Not my cup of tea, but doesn't mean I hold it against them that God speaks to their hearts a little different than me.

At the debates twice now we have had moments of silence. Some bow their heads, some close their eyes, some just stare in space straight ahead, but that is ok. If that is how they show reverence it is ok. Prayer throughout history has been different, some bowing heads, some with hands raised up in the air looking up.

There is nothing wrong with wanting to pray for someone. Even the showy ones.
