Ted Cruz is going after Donald Trump’s recent move of asking rally attendees to pledge their allegiance to him.
Cruz told a crowd of 1,000 at a Kannapolis, North Carolina church on Tuesday that the move strikes him as “profoundly wrong” and is something “kings and queens demand” of their subjects.
All Trump did in an effort to "Get Out The Vote" was ask the rally attendees to pledge that they will be sure to come out to vote for him on election day. Every candidate does the same thing in one way or another.
Cruz excoriating Trump by comparing his GOTV effort to an old world hereditary lord demanding fealty of his subjects just reinforces that the Clueless Canadian Cruz is out of touch with reality.
