I have watched Trump over and over and over and over again, tell his people to be nice and not hurt the protesters.

There was one scuffle where he was upset at the way the protester was getting physical where he said something. Other than that, he has not wanted to come off looking like insighting.

And then Ted shot his mouth off. That was so bush league.

If he won’t defend the 1st, I don’t expect him to support the 2nd. Or secure our borders.
He’s toast politically.
Maybe he can go back to talking about the Constitution in court.

The loans have grown, but paying them off was going to be no problem---IF he became President. The "loans" of course were payments in advance for influence, like dozens of contributions to his at least dozen pacs. Besides Goldman Sachs, there was Club of Growth, and many individuals, including gay marriage activists and lesbian activists. And don't forget scofflaw Robert Mercer, NY Hedge Fund Manager in desperate need of intervention with the IRS for massive back taxes he owes.

The question is how do you pay off the loans if you don't GET the job you need that has the influence.

Nine days after Ted became senator, Heidi was promoted from Goldman Sachs Vice President to managing director, and the only next step up was partner, and as first lady you can bet partner was the next thing on the ladder.

Will GS keep her if she doesn't have the promised influence? (As she did in the couple of years while she was at the White House advising on investment banks, the two years leading up to TARP, which Goldman Sachs made out like bandits on.) Would they keep her on, and would Ted be able to work off his debt with favors as a senator? He never accomplished anything as senator--he tried, on Gang of 8, on H1B increases, on TPA and TPP. (well he succeeded on TPP)

One thing for sure, his total lack of character or loyalty has ruled him out for the spot of VP on a Trump ticket.

I do think that Cruz will be a focal point at the convention and the machinations planned by Jeb and Mitt to booger with the rules. And now they have a great "reason": We've got to do SOMETHING---we can't let a man like Trump, who promotes and incites violence and whose mouth is out of control, become our nominee.

Dear Mr. Cruz

This is the most revolting thing I have seen this political season.

I thought my support for you was unshakable.

It turns out it isn’t

There are some situations where you DO expect solidarity with political opponents, especially of your own party.

Sorry, guess I'm jaded. After the Cochran fiasco I expect only the worst from the GOPe.

So much for Cruz being a “Constitutional Scholar” - he doesn’t even seem to understand that Trump has a RIGHT TO SPEAK and that disrupters of any kind have NO RIGHT to prevent to Trump from speaking.

When Trump starts sending his thugs to the rallies of OTHER CANDIDATES, only then will I start blaming Trump...I’m still waiting for that day to happen.

And by the way, does Cruz REALLY THINK that he would be exempt from this type of disruption if he were on the verge of being the next president - and would he then be blaming himself for causing it?

>> And Cruz wants me to think he’d be a great SCOTUS justice. <<

Cruz is running for President, not SCOTUS. I've never heard him talk about wanting to be on SCOTUS. In fact, the ONLY people saying he'd make a "great SCOTUS justice" are your fellow Trump supporters trying to convince us that if we elect liberal Donald Trump, he'll put Cruz on the court instead of his fellow liberals. It's the talking point they're on now after the "Cruz would make a good running mate for my man Trump" didn't work.

Here in California, in the San Francisco Bay Area, we have one of the top AM radio conservative talk stations. It was from here that the ACTUAL “Great One”, Michael Savage rose to fame and then went syndicated all over the United States. Those who tune into “Hot Talk 560” data stream in from all over the world, and also on Savage’s own data streaming (syndicated) he is number one, no one can hold a candle to him.

We have two other very good conservative talk shows on AM radio on other channels as well. Do not be mislead, the number of conservatives, right-wing, and nationalists is huge here.

But we do have one annoying and serious problem. The national “news” that comes on the air at the top of the hour, and 30 minutes after. The local “news” isn’t bad. But the national news is right out of the Soviet Union. On the KSFO channel 560 AM, one of the most popular stations on AM here for conservative talk, Regarding this national “news”, I haven’t even been able to identify who the hell they are. Seriously. They don’t say “This is ABC News”, or CBS, or xyz network, of Syndicated this or that. They just say things like “This is Sue Socialist (whatever is the person’s name)”... almost like they purposely hide what network or 3 letter or whoever they are. Purposely. We are not supposed to know who the hell they are. We are only suppose to listen to their communist propaganda and lies.

I have been all over the US, various states, in fact all over the world. We have the most God awful leftwing communist **** you can imagine that passes for “news”.

Tonight while driving into Berkeley, California, to pick someone up from the University, the “news” at the top of the hour was the most disgusting Soviet propaganda you can imagine. They reported the “punching” event at one of the Trump rallies, and literally blamed Trump as causing the “protests” in Chicago as related to this “punching” incident.

And one other thing. They quoted this pathetic politician Ted Cruz, reporting that he blamed Trump for what happened tonight, then played a sound bite of Cruz blaming Trump.

I have already said it, I will say it until Kingdom come from this point forward. This was the most sick and selfish political hi jinks I can ever imagine, Ted Cruz and his cheap political tactic and lie to spin this on Trump thinking it will advantage his own interests, his own damn selfish motives, while betraying our police officers, our soldiers, our vets, our candidates, our freedom to hear and decide our choices in a free election, our free speech itself, to these scum, who threatened our very right to assemble, betrayed by Cruz’s own pathetic political expediency of the moment, by all accounts siding with the lowest communist, anarchist, Muslims who hate us, and street rats and black racists and Nation of Islam and George Soros and the Bernie Sanders socialist pigs, just to get some hit against the Republican front runner in hopes he would get 3 more points, maybe 2.

It is amazing how stupid this guy really is. Cruz just handed the nomination to Trump. And by the way, those pathetic “feel the Burn” Sanders agitprop communists also just handed the nomination to Hillary besides. They actually destroyed Sanders and his chance to ever get the nomination, gone with the wind.

I will never, never, never forget what this sleaze ball Cruz did tonight. And the communist “news” on the “top of the hour” with glee quoted Ted Cruz. Ted Cruz is unfit for office. I will remember tonight for the rest of my life as sure as I remember the church bells that rang off hour the very moment the Iranian Mullah bastards released our hostages when Reagan became President of the United States.

Who expects solidarity from their political opponents? That's idiotic.

Apparently the majority of Trump's supporters. I refer you to post #38 as Exhibit A. "If only Cruz said this, if only Cruz said that..." After everything said here about Cruz and the realpolitik of this election, all of a sudden everyone wants to rally around the flag and the Constitution when they've freely abandoned conservative principles under some vague and nebulous notion of saving the country.

National survival first, then we can talk about a more conservative track for this nation. Trump supporters have adopted the position of the GOPe. Conservatives, to the back of the bus we'll get to your concerns later.

By the way, good luck trying to sell the triangulated conspiracy narrative between BLM/Moveon.org and Sea Island to disrupt Trump's rally. I'm sure you'll be able to garner the attention of Trump's non-FR LIV supporters to explain all that.

Nah, you’re missing the point by a mile..

Isn’t Ted supposed to be a constitutional scholar? Hello!

He doesn’t even express an elemental grasp of the first amendment.

Rubio is still the worst. He’s just more polish. He’s a snake, who speak one way to one crowd and say another thing to another crowd

Cruz is not a quick thinker. I’m sure over time he will come to realize he’s wrong

“Cruz completely took the side of the media and the GOPe and without hardly blinking told a whopper of a lie that Trump was responsible for it. Without even breaking a sweat as he sat there and basically covered for the radical left.”

That’s actually scary when you think about it. I mean downright creepy, like there’s a deeply masked pathology of some sort, right below the surface.

You have a right to your own opinion and to express it freely without fear of intimidation.
Here at least.
That’s something Cruz, unfortunately, doesn’t seem to grasp. Maybe the framers were right after all?
By that I mean that his completely tone-deaf failure, as a candidate who wants to lead this nation, to protect the rights of others to peaceably assemble and freely speak and listen with others is because he’s a Cana—strict, originalist Constitutional lawyer.

“Cruz had a chance to stand next to Trump is solidarity against this orchestrated effort to molest and disrupt as peaceful political assembly... He failed.”

I was thinking the same. WHAT IF Cruz had said something like:

“Violent disruptions have NO PLACE in political discourse. Yes, I want Trump to lose, but not at the price of SILENCING him and his supporters. That is something that happens in the Third World, and should NEVER be allowed to happen in America.”

Cruz would likely sailing to the nomination tonight, instead of looking like a TOTAL LOSER.

Talk about a missed opportunity...

I was switching channels around and saw on msnbc that Cruz was on air with the queer lesbian Rachel Maddow program and that in and of itself surprised me. Why would a conservative get anywhere near an aids carrying lesbian. Cruz mumbled along but then he started his lying crap about Trump. Now, upon seeing Cruz backstabbing Trump, in my eyes this Cruz bast*rd is welcome to s**** ***.

And in regards to lesbian Maddow's program itself, they were continuously looping segments of the protesters and one segment showed a protester on the stage and at the podium. Then the camera focused in closely on the podium where two security men where trying to restrain a shahultee, but he was resisting. The camera kept rolling until this guy was finally pulled off the stage. All the while, lesbian Maddows was disparaging Mr Trump.

It’s as if in Star Wars when Darth Vadar asks Luke to come to the Dark Side and in this alternate universe, Luke agreed!

George Soros to Ted: “Come to the Dark Side and we will rule the Universe”
Ted: “Sure thing Dad, thanks for giving me a hand”

Ugh

“Trump brought it on himself. He banked his candidacy on his ‘strong man’ personae and BLM/Moveon.org called his bluff and he folded.”

I guess his body guards should bring their AR-15’s, and use them, in these situations?

It sure sounds like you want that from him - to somehow ‘prove himself’ to you.
