He always has been part of the establishment, but just a silent partner until recently. Cruz has now come out of the establishment closet and exposed himself for what he is.

Cruz's statements yesterday, including his unsupported allegations that the Trump campaign is engaging in violence against the news media, show that he is really just another elitist who has no intention of standing up to the left. He may make a couple of speeches, but when it comes time for action he'll do nothing.
Of course that's no surprise, Sen. Cruz had plenty of time to attempt to reform the IRS while he was a Senator, but where is the legislation? He's all for change now, but why didn't he do something as a Senator? Simple, because he's just talking. He won't take any action not approved by his handlers and the guys funding his efforts.
