If Chuck Wollery and Jan Morgan count as prominent supporters you’ve got bigger problems than throwing Trump under the bus.

He lost me and I’ve been a Cruzer since the get go. I decided to stop getting into this Primary tug of war, but this has drawn me back in.

This was the defining moment, but I will still Vote for the eventual Republican Nominee in the General, even Cruz or Rubio if they actually get that far (which I doubt a little more every day).

Trump was always my second choice, now he gets my Primary Vote (not that it will make any difference since I’m in CA).

We go to church, tonight on Saturday. Then, on Sunday, we can get up when we want to and slowly get into DST!

Riffing? And Pathological.

Well, I amend my question:

Is this "riffing", like calling Dr. Carson pathological or stupidity?

And Trumpanzees bought it all. Carson was the worst man ever.

Until he endorsed Trump. Example:

Carson is done...he has shown himself, by his comments and in his books that he is a patholocial liar  HarleyLady27, 11/13/2015

Dr. Carson is a world known Neurosurgeon, one of the best in the field.  HarleyLady27, 3/11/2016

Hint: The BS being spewed about Cruz right now is the same quality as the BS that was spewed about Carson.

Are most of Ted’s legions really getting into the Long Star or Jack Daniels today?

The were there...but not where we were. Some police (ultimately the group that rescued us) were running thru levels of the parking garage watching for looters and thugs damaging cars.

The thugs by me had breached the line and went around to the back side of the parking garage where they found us attempting to leave...so there were police at the exits of the garage (where some protesters had gathered) and on the other side and front, but no police in back were we were...

Ypu can only imagine our crazy call to 911...911 was saying well there are lots of police there. And we are saying uh not where we are and that there are 200 or so angry thugs beating on car windows and screaming stuff at us...

Understatement that I was in the wrong place at the wrong time...Never seen so many hateful people...I felt like I was in some sort of TV movie. Very scary, so I want people here to understand exactly what we are dealing with...this was not a protest over some perceived comment by Trump...

The Trump supporters were not violent...The Trump supporters were scared...

This was a professionally organized Chicago style rent-a-mob...tho of course, there were some students and others who joined in. But to blame Trump for this is outrageous to me...but then I am still pretty raw from the whole ordeal.

For anyone wanting to know what we are talking about: Trump supporters leaving the rally being mobbed by thugs.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mFGYgHFMJkA

These thugs and their organizers (Moveon.org et. al.) want to suppress free speech through violence and political correctness. Free speech is the FIRST Amendment! I reject their tyranny as does Trump.

Thank you for kind thought :)

I believe he gave a very political and nuanced reply. He covered his bases with the first part of his remarks, his fig leaf, in essence, so he could say he blamed the protesters. He then went on to imply they were justified because of things Trump has said.

I believe he is a smart man and I am confident he understands the implications of how he builds his phrases. He had a huge opportunity to rise above everyone else last night and still make similar points. Had he said something along the lines of “While I do not agree with all the Mr. Trump says or how he says it, and while he does feed an atmosphere of antagonism, there is absolutely no excuse for the behavior exhibited in the rally hall and on the streets of Chicago, etc.,” he could have made his jab at Trump and still stood tall against the Sanders, move-on, and OnlyBLM, anti-free speech crowd.

I really believe that is the source of the anger against him. In essence, many people heard his words as saying “they may have misbehaved, but they had just cause.”

My point, and the cite I produced, was that Carson referred to himself as pathological. Other than that, I have nothing to say to you.

It’s been a very interesting day today on free republic. Still comes down to we’re going to vote Republican. I’ll even vote for Cruz or Rubio for president. I am not going to stay home.

One comment? Their are five I can think of...just in the past week.

At times, you can predict a persons ability to function in office by the way they run their campaign. Seeing that the Cruz campaign continues to self destruct, makes me wonder if he'd run the Country the same way?

If this is what he thinks of this, just what the hell is he going to do as president?

He will go full globalist. That is the reason he is humoring the Dominionists. It is a Christian sounding version of jihad. Conquer, steal and divvy the loot.

‘He also said that Trump is responsible for the things he has said which create the “culture” of his campaign.’

So it was Trump supporters, warped by the culture of Trumps’s campaign, that went nuts last night? Trump’s supporters that shouted racial epithets, attacked people and got arrested?
