"The money was basically stolen from me. You expect this from the bad guys," he said. "You don't expect this from your government."

Probably testing out the new software the establishment in Washington plans to use in December if Trump wins the election. Tens of thousands of government “workers” will suddenly become wealthy, resign and retire to a sunny Caribbean island.

If you have direct deposit or automatic payment set up, it can happen to you. Good luck chasing your money down.

And they want Apple’s source code.

To do skillful things with it ... right.

No f’ing way I’d let these clowns have withdrawal privileges directly from any of my accounts. I render unto Caesar but I make the payments myself.

people who had previously authorized electronic bank withdrawals

Right there is the problem.

Giving anyone or any entity (especially government) access to your bank account is something a wise and cautious person would never do.

I guess he has heard about ObamaCare.

Don’t pay your ObamaCare bill. They just raid your bank account.

There are reasons I don’t let anyone suck money out of my accounts. While a direct depositor may reverse a transaction, leaving you in a bind, if anyone without authorization sucked money out of my account, I’d look to the bank to make it good, and let them chase whoever they wanted to.

A lot more efficient than having to chase the wrongdoer yourself.
