Another day, another hate crime hoax. This one was perpetrated last August by a lesbian named Mari Poindexter, who claimed she was punched in the face by a stranger who also spewed slurs about her appearance and sexuality.
In a writeup by that was as much tribute as news story, northern Michigan Fox News affiliate WWTV reported that Poindexter (“an accomplished young woman, already having a master’s degree and hired on to teach business at Central Michigan University”) was enjoying an evening out with companions when she was cold-cocked:

Was there a Poindexter in the Buster Brown Shoe ads? I remember the dog named “”Tye” and the boy as Buster Brown, but there were a few other characters in those ads.
This is for the oldtimers from the early-mid-50’s, years, not age. Let’s see how many good gray cells are left working (No cheating unless absolutely necessary re Google).

Liberals make up these lies then the press falls for it... You'd think reporters would check this stuff out better since it's the 'liberal is a victim of conservative' is always a lie.
I went to Italy during the Gulf War II, and saw these things flying all over the place. My contempt for these people knows no bounds.
I highly recommend the 30 on 30 being shown by ESPN called “fantastic lies” which is about the Duke Lacrosse hoax.
Poindexter was also the dog in that cartoon about the dog who owned the boy and they went back in time in the “ way back machine” I can’t remember the name of it...

It wasn’t really a show, it was part of the Rocky and Bullwinkle show. The dog’s name was Mr. Peabody and the kid’s name was Sherman. Have a nice day.

The relative hand slap she got amounts to tacit approval and a signal that sexual revolutionaries are nearly immune from blame for proven crimes.
I remember those “Buster Brown” ads.
I can’t recall Poindexter but then, I can barely remember the ads. It does seem there was a cartoon character named Poindexter but can’t pinpoint where.

That was riveting...what a pompous ass wendy Murphy was...
I’m glad someone else saw it...it was riveting, especially the courtroom scenes as Nifong realized his case was being torn to shreds.
They should have all been sentenced to years in jail equivalent to what they were seeking to imprison the Duke players to. Every single person who had a part in the prosecution.
