#1 and #2 are already done.

If the GOPe goes through with this, which I think you are spot on about, the GOP is done.

>>The RNC/GOP do not care if they lose.

They will care if we stay home and let the Dems win back Congress. The UniParty is counting on the appearance of gridlock to keep the sheeple happy.

Someone actually mentioned the issue of a massive voter walkout last night on FNC. It was the first time I’ve heard anyone mention that nuclear option when the elitist hacks are talking about how Trump must be stopped at the convention.

Go ahead Ryan, reach. I’d love to see you get your arm gnawed off!

Karl Rove was on Fox last night saying that it is likely that no candidate will get enough delegates before the convention. He then said that a brokered convention would be good. He that it has happened before and it would help the party get the best candidate.

Why do you even listen to what Rove says? He's a dumbass who is consistently wrong! There's NOT going to be a brokered convention unless the GOPe elite are willing to see the party go up in flames. They'll lose everything. The WH and every down ballot contest.

Hang on a freaking minute.

Breitbart writes that Ryan “suggests” he could “reach” for the nomination.

Every other account, and I have seen at least two others, says that Ryan did not deny he would accept.

Those are two very, very different things, and I do not believe that Ryan’s (carefully chosen) words arise to the level of “reach”.

Let’s be careful that we don’t overreact to editorializing, whether from Breitbart or elsewhere.

Why in hell did all of those Ohio republican voters pick Kasich last night? He has no chance to win. What could possibly motivate that many people to vote for someone without a bat's chance in hell?

I would rather Cruz or Trump win Ohio than Kasich. At least both of them have a chance. Geeez what is wrong with people.

How about Trump and Cruz agree to back each other. They prove they are statesman seeking the common good.

The candidate with the most delegates gets the nomination. Second in delegates gets his pick of any other position.

The GOPe gets crushed like the dogs(Dogs are better than this.)they are.

The Country is saved.

They need to do this now.
Let Cruz tear apart Kasich.
Then they announce the ticket Trump/Cruz the night before the election and the GOPe is toast.

6. The Republican party will be renamed the New Whig party and take their well deserved place in the abyss.

IT'S A TRIAL BALLOON.

It needs the air let out of it.

Remember this too - this Ryan-goes-Kanye balloon, and Bobo anointing a gun-snatching Macguffin who will never sit SCOTUS, are both strictly intended to flood-the-zone and choke off the TRUMP INEVITABILITY news cycle.

I understand it’s a trial balloon, but foisting active pursuit onto Ryan if it cannot be shown to be true is wrong, and certainly isn’t required for we, the voters, to say “HELL NO!”

I can support Cruz as VP for Trump. After 4 or 8 years of Trump then Cruz can take it.

“If Cruz wants to keep his anti-establishment cred...”

Perhaps he can keep up his anti-establishment charade, but the mask is now off. He was never anti-establishment to begin with.

re “...bad down-ticket hell for the Republicans in general...”

A fact which should be made abundantly clear to EVERY LOCAL Republican committeeman in every neighborhood.

All politics is local. Time to use it.

So this Rep. Ryan - who had to be drafted for the Speakership because he wanted assurances that he’s not have to travel so much to campaign for others (family, homelife, etc.) - now wants to be President of the United States.

Okay, sure.
