I guess this means Ogama will put the selection in by EO. Be a first since he is a prez of firsts. First black prez, not, Slick Willie was remember? First to throw away the nation as fast as he can. Not. Jimmum Kar-terr was. Okay, first prez to kiss the muzzies butts. Now that he does win.

They will cave. Just wait. 0bama will get his surrogates out there and start pumping up his nominee. Support for his nominee will grow nationwide and Americans will turn on the Republicans, Hillary will soar in the polls and Democrats will poise to take back the Senate.

If you think I am nuts, just check out 0bamas approval numbers lately. He’s over 50% again and growing.

Most Americans are very stupid people.

He’s not black,he’s bi-racial.

Why he wants to identify with the father who dumped him baffles me.

Those who raised him are white.

He should be looking for a shrink, not a judge.

I agree, and try very hard not to be one.

I'm ok with hearings--in late November. If Dems win, they can choose whether the new President or the old one gets to confirm. And if Trump wins (most likely scenario) he gets to pick. Delay is only 8 months for a lifetime appointment, and the people will get to choose who makes it.

Now, let's play a little "what if". The Dems have a good chance of getting the Senate back this fall, especially if they try to screw Trump's voters. What if they do? I can tell you what, they will withdraw this guy and put in Loretta Lynch. She might even be confirmed before the new President is sworn in, whether it is Trump or Hillary. Congress comes back before the new President is inaugurated. Will McConnell use this as a reason for him to cave this fall when the heat starts getting intense, and his blackmail starts to be used?

With Ginsberg, Breyer and perhaps others on the cusp of retirement, the Senate races become extremely important. The Supreme Court needs to be a big issue this fall, and it is one that Republicans can win on IF they hold fast on Obama's pick and IF they explain the distinction between original intent and a living constitution. The people, as always, are with us when we fight and counter the Dem lies. That is what is great about Trump, and that is what we will need for the Senate, which will have difficulty keeping a majority.

So start thinking about that, and let's all work on it this fall. It won't do much good to build a wall if a Democrat Supreme Court says it's illegal to deport illegal aliens, and why haven't we let them vote yet? God help us if Dems win the White House and the Senate.

I had a liberal work associate email me a few weeks back, asking me what I thought of the Reps “blocking” another Zero nominee. Now, this is a guy who teaches classes on the constitution, and to be fair, does a pretty good job and does not let his politics show through during the training. None that I have seen. So, just to see what kind of reaction I would get, I told him that the Senate should just butt out and let the prez appoint whoever he wants. He thought that was just a grand idea, and at the same time said he couldn’t recall the Dims ever blocking a Rep nominee. It was surreal.

Surprise!! Mitch McConnell is on Fox News stating decisively that Garland WILL NOT get a hearing. He’s being very conciliatory toward the Donald. Looks like he may have gotten the message.

I have an idea - link the confirmation hearings to moveon.org, blacklivesmatter, et al.

The confirmation hearings will held as long as those two organizations and their allies don’t disrupt rallies for the Republican Party candidates. They behave and we behave. At the first protest, wild card or not, the deal has been broken and it is off the table.

BTW no fast track actions by anyone; it follows the normal course.

Ted Cruz should say he is ordering his buddy Steve King to primary him anyway just to make sure.

This is just the latest chapter in the saga that is the clueless GOPe. Someday, if they’re lucky, this could come back to bite them on the arse.

The Senate Judiciary Committee should hold a hearing for O’s nominee.

Given O’s disdain for the Constitution, the hearing should take all of an hour or two, finishing in time to take an early lunch.

Instead, they’re taking a “tough stand”... They pick the stupidest times to act as if they have a spine.

Because, in the future, if there’s ever another Republican president (BIG if, I know) and the roles are reversed, remember McConnell and Grassley.
