Ted Cruz on Wednesday mocked Donald Trump for bowing out of a debate next week in Salt Lake City, and the Texas senator vowed to call out the GOP front-runner at a gathering of a major pro-Israel lobby group next week.
Trump said earlier in the day that he would not participate in the Fox News debate in Utah on Monday, and John Kasich quickly said that he wouldn't attend if Trump didn't. Later on Wednesday, Fox News formally canceled the event.
Trump said he would use his time instead on Monday to address a conference hosted by the American Israel Public Affairs Committee, the prominent pro-Israel group. Cruz's campaign said in a statement Wednesday that Cruz would use his time at the same conference to "highlight Trump's positions -- or lack thereof -- in front of the thousands of AIPAC members in attendance."

How do you figure? Kasich said he would not do the debate if Trump wasn’t going to do it, and Trump said he wasn’t going to do it; ergo. no Trump and no Kasich. Who the hell would Cruz debate?
Cruz’s vision for the country is him telling you what a True Principled Conservative™ he is.

Trump is shifting campaign focus to his real opponent, Hillary. Cruz is stuck refighting last weeks battle. Trump is way inside Cruz’s OODA Loop.

Patent BULLSHIT. CRUZ STILL LYING UP A STORM.

Even John Kasick (did you know his father is a mailman?), my newest BFF, agreed to stand off to the side and look stupid (just like the previous TWELVE debates). It’s not fair I tell you, it’s not fair.”
Trump didn’t “run away” .. He already had another obligation; so he told them, I’m already committed somewhere else (people can do that); and FOX knew that if Trump was not going to be there, then there would be no audience - so FOX cancelled the debate.
Everybody needs to back off and just shut it down. We’re all sick and tired of how you all hijack this website for your Cruz bashing. Get over yourself.

My question to you, CyberAnt is: Did you ever post such admonishment to anyone attacking Trump, or are you only reserving it for those who dare say anything bad about Cruz?
And let’s not forget the stacked audiences for these ‘debates’. In Romney’s Utah? Wouldn’t surprise me if they sprang Glen Beck as a surprise moderator.
“Mock” is really too strong a word for what Ted Cruz did. But CNN wants to facilitate infighting among Republicans ... which is why they chose such a negative and divisive word.
Cruz is so classy that he’s detonating his own campaign much the same way Rubio did. It began with Cruz siding with Hillary Clinton and Obama with the Chicago rioters, and it’ll escalate as Cruz goes to a Israel conference to give his anti-Trump stump speech for the 10,000th time.
It really was bizarre and pathetic in the last debate when Cruz used a question on Cuba to smear Trump’s past donations to Hillary. Cruz badly needs a volume control. He’s at 11 all the time. Very off putting to the 85% of GOP primary voters outside his base.
..Kasich backed out. He’s afraid of Cruz too...
Why would Trump, a big winner again, waste his time on an also ran?
Cruz needs the publicity.
