If we stop $100s billions/year going one-way from the US to other countries, then their growth will decline.

I don’t expect Trump to stop it all ($500 billion deficit with China and $58 billion with Mexico) but will slow it down and possibly reverse it. I’m not concerned if it slows the growth of other countries. They can all work together (with Trump) to stop a global recession if that’s the concern. But we can’t avoid a global recession on the backs of US workers alone.

So an actual socialist is not a problem? They are pulling out all the stops to oppose Trump. It is amazing. The issue is not trade, it is people freaking out over supposed bigotry. The world has gone mad.

Pure crap from a “think” tank that is doing its donors’ bidding (sounds familiar, doesn’t it?).

Trump will lower taxes, reduce regulations, make the government more efficient (well, less inefficient), allow massive amounts of drilling for oil, etc., etc. In other words, he will be a growth President. Cheaper oil, lower taxes and less regulations will all combine to make U.S. growth explosive, and we’re about 20% of the world’s economy. Our imports will rise (they always do with more prosperity), feeding growth elsewhere. Most importantly, innovation will be encouraged, which will have immense potential to increase growth rates everywhere.

These guys haven’t a clue - or they do and they’re lying more than Hillary Clinton.

“This is the same, well-worn strategy of the left. It is just a slight variation on the Nuts and Sluts smear campaign. That is, the impending Republican is either a wild-eyed nut, or is a intellectually stupid, ignorant, slut.

Whatever.”

More silliness from the poseurs in the media.

If Donald stands as a rock against the fantasy promoters, he will introduce an element of certainty, which will very, very considerably reduce the presently terribly high global risks: Which are economic, physical & spiritual.

The man has shown in various subtle ways, that he is much more intelligent than most of his detractors; much more level headed as to the actual issues. I will admit that he sometimes behaves in a socially very brusque manner; but has lately demonstrated that he can set aside that brusque manner at will. This tells us that that brusque manner is a election tactic, not a permanent fixture.

We Stand With Donald!

Holding or destroying much of global growth would benefit America. It would mean that the drain of America's wealth will slow down to Chine and Mexico and our growth will go up. More jobs just for starters. Trump has it right.

Trump for President.

The economy is already contracting. Growth is negative.

Having a President who is a bombastic businessman who speaks truth to power will be a huge plus for everyone.

About time we start worrying about our own growth. Our redistribution of wealth government policy benefits everyone but us.

Exactly. The UN is crapping bricks because they see they're glorious plan for GLOBAL wealth redistribution going down in flames. The other countries that have seen their deals with us benefitting only them are in the same boat and it's sinking because they can see the end of the gravy train. All that does is give Trump strength. He hasn't even started on Hildebeast yet. And don't forget a possible indictment of her and her staff. If the Republican Party tries to usurp Trump (especially by some kind of parliamentary swindle), they deserve utter destruction. Start all over.

A bit is madness (that’s for the useful idiots); for the elites it isn’t madness, it is greed for power and money.

I take solace in the fact that the more vociferous is the outcry against someone like Trump (and it’d be Cruz if he was in the lead), the more that I know I’m right. You only get flak if you’re over the target...and Trump is leading a 1,000 plane raid over Berlin right as we speak.

Expect attack after attack on Trump over the next several months. And if he is elected president, attacks will continue for years.

This article in the economist is leftist nonsense.

Few people will even read it.

But the media will repeat it and some uninformed people will believe it.

This analysis demonstrates the problem here.

Our political class have become globalists who have sold out the American voters and are actively working to improve the economies of the rest of the world at the expense of the American domestic economy and on the backs of the American voter.

And they are being paid handsomely by these other countries for taking care of foreign interests before the interests of the American people.

A Trump Presidency that acts first and foremost in the interests of the American people would derail all that these politicians have worked towards and
