Heading toward the March 22 Republican presidential preference election in Arizona, Rep. David Schweikert (R-AZ) endorsed Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) for president.
Schweikert issued the following statement regarding his endorsement of Cruz:
My top priority in Congress has always been to do what the Washington insiders simply refuse to do, and that is to reduce the size and cost of government and save our nation from the crushing debt that the Washington politicians have placed on the backs of each and every citizen of our nation.
Throughout the never ending battles to do this, Ted Cruz has always been a principled leader fighting to do the very same thing. With a federal debt that is quickly approaching an unfathomable $20 trillion, our countrys future economic growth and prosperity are in grave danger unless we elect a principled conservative who is truly committed to stopping the out of control spending and borrowing that has led us to where we are today.
Its clear that Ted is the conservative leader that we need as our next president, and my wife Joyce and I are proud to give him our strongest endorsement. In the upcoming Arizona presidential preference primary, Ted is the clear choice for voters who want a conservative president who is truly committed to fixing the mess in Washington, Schweikert concluded.

In before the Trump seminarians.
Principled Conservative sworn in while wearing blue jeans by mock “Chief Justice” Glenn Beck .
“But, but, but, Cruz *is* an insider!” <—Dopey Trumpette
Cruz, the “outsider”. Supported by all the insiders.
Other than Rick Scott I’m not seeing any recent support from state or federal legislators backing Trump. Me thinks the writing is on the wall as Trump is looking more and more toxic with each passing day.
But, but, but, Cruz *is* an insider! <Dopey Trumpette”
He sure is. All signs now point to that. Latest is Linda Graham having a fund raiser for Cruz. Cruz has sold out to the establishment.
So I guess Neil Bush just decided to volunteer for the Cruz campaign because he’s only interested in the political discourse.
I remember South Carolina politicians lining up for Rubio. Big fail. Arizona will fail for Cruz. First, voting has been going on for awhile now so that is a bank of votes trump has already.
I guess when you have nothing else, rush in post that, and feel like you really accomplished something?
Can’t blame Graham for doing what is right and sensible for a change.
Can’t blame a Bush for doing what is right and sensible for a change.
Lol. Cruz lost 6 elections Tuesday night. Whose toxic 3 days later? You are funny I’ll give you that.
Glad to hear it. Hope you feel that way when the rest of the Bush clan formally endorses Cruz, and look they’ll bring a ton of establishment money with them too. Ted should be so happy!
First time I realized principled leaders blamed their own party members rather than rioters bought and paid for by George Soros.
Principled? Nope.
That’s Bush’s problem, not Cruz’s.

If Jesus had Twelve Cruz supporters as disciples, we’d be praying to Roman Gods.
