Trump voters are supporting a constitutional illiterate over a Constitutional lawyer. Show me how Trump knows more abouts the US Constitution than Ted Cruz..you can’t....so go support your tyranny and see how that works out.

Populism is a doctrine that appeals to the interests and conceptions of the general population. Reagan ran a national populist campaign against Carter in 1980. When Reagan started his campaign during the primaries, polls showed him trailing Carter by 40-50%. He gained popularity by his campaign and gained more popularity by following through after being elected. Trump is running a very similar campaign, now.

The biggest difference between Trump and Reagan is that Reagan was a previously elected public official. Trump on the other hand is not.

Trump built his entire company on Brand name. He is going to follow through with his words to the best of his ability, which is pretty damn good. If he didn’t, his family name and brand would be tarnished.

More over, most of Trump’s positions all fall back to a set of positions he has be trumpeting (no pun intended) since the ‘80s. Trade Deficits and Debt. Fixing these are part of his core principals. And to fix those, Trump has taken on positions that all connect back to those.

Trump isn’t it in it for power. He had an opportunity during the ‘80s and early ‘90s to run, but said that he liked what he did. He also said that he wouldn’t completely rule it out, especially if someone didn’t fix the Trade Deficits and Debt before we reached a point of no return. But he always gave hope that someone would. Obviously, that point has been reached as no one has done anything to fix it.

Donald Trump is a progressive. He has been a progressive his entire life. Of course I’m under no delusion that you will accept this fact. So I will tell you like I have told your fellow travelers. Should Trump become President I will give you all the Trump you love so much.

Interesting that you would say that. I’ve listened to Mark for years, was his biggest fan, however his Constitutional expertise does not excuse his recent inconsistencies and blowhard bullshit. In fact, I’m starting to wonder how expert he is given his recent conduct. BTW that goes for Rush too.

DT has thrown these radio guys into a tailspin, they don’t know which way is up but the people do. Just like the GOPe, methinks they know they’re losing control and the people are waking up to all manner of misdirection.

He ran against Bush. Bush called Reagan’s free market economics: “voodoo economics”

Yes, which is why I think Bush was pushed on Reagan. I just don’t think Reagan was aware of how bad Bush was at the time. In retrospect, we can analyze the situation better knowing Bush’s actions.

Has New York been heavily chemtrailed the past 2 months? I swear there is mass inexplicable insanity among the media Maybe the bunker needs an air filter

In the period Jan 1 thru Feb 15, Trump has spent less on TV ads than any other candidate except Carson (who dropped out).

Trump has managed to take the lead without doing traditional major media ad-buys. The thought strikes terror into the hearts of all media companies of all persuasions.

I was reminded of this exchange from the movie “Volunteers:”

Chung Mee: Opium is my business. The bridge mean more traffic. More traffic mean more money. More money mean more power.

Lawrence Bourne III: Yeah, well, before I commit any of that to memory, would there be anything in this for me?

Chung Mee: Speed is important in business. Time is money.

Lawrence Bourne III: You said opium was money.

Chung Mee: Money is Money.

Lawrence Bourne III: Well then, what is time again?

I’ve been listening to mark Levin off and on for years. Sometimes he’s right and its a beautiful thing and then sometimes he’s wrong and its not so beautiful. He is also not the last word on the Constitution. Only people who are not really familiar with it have to hang on Marks’ every word about it.

I remember a few short months ago when Mark Levin was having a bromance with Marco Rubio and try to tell us all that the little amnesty loving weasel was a “true conservative”. Give me a break.

No Mark’s got a bad case of Sore Cruzerman and he can’t get up. :-)

Levin calling Trump a populist doesn’t make him a populist.

From wiki:
Populism is a doctrine that appeals to the interests and conceptions (such as hopes and fears) of the general population, especially when contrasting any new collective consciousness push against the prevailing status quo interests of any predominant political sector.
The word is a catch-all. Trump is somebody who is in favor of issues that the people are demanding, and where the entrenched interests have been ignoring the people.

If that makes him a populist, than I'm a populist too.

Levin has turned out to be an absolutely disgusting liar ..Levin is merging the Reagan Legacy with modern Globalism and should be thoroughly discredited ...

Levin is attacking Trump and Buchanan (as well as smearing all of Trump’s supporters) incessantly on a daily basis ...the fact of the matter is , Buchanan faithfully served Reagan far better than Levin ever could have dreamt of , and for Levin to attack Buchanan and other true Conservatives , as well as his attempt to claim the mantle of Reagan’s legacy, is beyond contempt ...shame be upon him and his pro-Globalist propaganda tirades

Back during the lead up to Clinton's impeachment, Rush's show featured a bit from Paul Shanklin that parodied a James Carville attack on Ken Starr...he made Carville sound like a maniacal, frothing-at-the-mouth, ranting, deranged lunatic (which of course, Carville was/is).

Every time Levin gets on a Trump rant, it reminds me of that skit.
