The Columbus Dispatch ^ | March 20, 2016 | Encarnacion Pyle

"The economic and human costs would be tremendous," said Douglas Holtz-Eakin, the conservative research group's president and an adviser to John McCain during his 2008 presidential campaign.
.

.
Last August, Politico, with help from experts at groups spanning the political spectrum, rang up the costs to carry out the key provisions of Trump's immigration plan, including mass deportation, tripling the number of immigration officers and walling off the southern border, at $166 billion at the low end.

So McCain's Advisor's "Conservative Thinktank" estimate the cost of Trump's plan at almost 3x what pro-amnesty open borders groups do....

How much would it cost to boot all the traitor politicians that let them in along with them?

The cost of not booting them is unlimited and continuously growing so if it’s $400B then so be it - better to spend it to get rid of them than to spend it supporting them and funding our destruction as a country.

Enforcing laws always cost money, so what’s their point? That we should only enforce laws when it can be done on the cheap?

What a total load of BS. It would more likely save us $1 trillion in just the next 5 years.

I think self-deportation is key. Make it so uncomfortable for them that most will leave on their own.

Yea, because giving welfare, paying for education, health, dental, food and the cost of people losing lives sure is more than actually enforcing the law.

What we are seeing here is the GOP and the Dem party fight tooth and nail to stop the border being enforced. Cruz and Kasich know they have to take delegates in order to get their contested convention and stop Trump , thus ignoring Americans and the rule of law.

Would booting just the illegal alien criminals and welfare cases also cost the government (that is state, federal, and local) a lot of money?

“NOW these clowns are “concerned” about the debt”

So the game continues! They’re getting out the single pea and the three half walnut shells as we speak! Their fingers never leave their hands!

Less than the loss to American workers per year in lost wages. That’s a bargain if we only have to do it once.
That’s why we need the wall. Some of these people have been deported 3, 4, 5 times.

Same op ed appeared in Saturday WSJ. And no it wouldn’t. They identify the expenses and (conveniently) ignore the - short and long term- cost savings. More bravo sierra from the Establishment destined to scare the masses.

Step one is that once you get identified as illegal...you get put on a plane or bus the next day. No days or weeks or months in some detention center or getting fed or sheltered by us. We deliver you to your country of origin, and hand you the forms to fill out....to come legally into the country, which you will hand off to any US embassy within your country. Those countries who refuse to accept their people back? We establish a tourist visa application to your country....$2,000 for each visa until you as a country accept your citizens back.

It’s not true, they will self deport for free.

Stop them from getting jobs and renting places to live.
