It isn’t that kind of race. If Trump doesn’t make it to the finish line, nobody else will have either. At that point, it is reasonable to look at who got closest to the finish line. This is especially true because the GOPe is obviously bribing John kasick to stay in the race to prevent anyone from getting to the finish line.
Looking “at who got closest to the finish line” is called a second ballot.

I agree that Trump should have the required number of delegates.
But I also believe that those who can’t possibly win enough delegates and don’t qualify because they haven’t won enough states should drop out. How about that rule?
