Nice, CNN is shoveling Cruz propaganda now.

Sad newsflash for Cruz supporters: Ted Cruz sides with leftists in their efforts to squash the free speech rights of Republicans who support Trump. Ted Cruz is only in this race to spoil Trump’s chances and get a GOPe tool installed, he has no hope of winning 80%+ of the remaining delegates.

Yes, Cruz will probably win Utah, and best-case for Ted, gets 40 delegates. But Trump will get 58 the same day. Then we go on to a bunch of states where Cruz will get crushed: NY, WI, PA, etc...

Cruz was supposed to win the south and didn’t. His game plan is already shot, and all this false optimism is leftist agitprop attempting to give his supporters a boost to get to the polls and deny Trump his 1,237 delegates.

I don’t think it will work. Enough Americans have woken up to the DC establishment and media gaming, and yes, that include Ted’s participation as well.

Soros will be sure to put Ted over 50% with the online voting that he's involved in. Think about it, this will be the first contest where a candidate gets over 50% and it just happens to be where a George Soros ally is running the online voting.

Cruz is looking good in the West

If by the ‘West’ you exclude California. Ted needs 87% of the remaining delegates, unless he starts curing cancer and bringing sight to the blind, he will not get those delegates, and if Ted thinks the GOPe at a ‘Brokered’ convention will hand him the nomination, he is Nuts.

“1 year and only won 3 primaries. Pretty pathetic.”

No, he has won eight primaries/caucuses.

I checked in on the winner take all and winner take most states. Trump has a huge lead in all of them except for Montana. The delegates he’d gain in just those WTA / WTM states would put him at about 1150 total.

He will win outright. Anyone believing it’ll end any other way is living in a fantasy land made up of desperate hopes.

Unless it results in a brokered convention controlled by the elite establishment, who then in turn toss out both candidates in favor of their own selection.

Cruz can’t win. He needs to drop out before he hands the decision to the GOPe.

I totally agree but there are trolls on both sides that can't honor that.

I think California is going to hand Ted Cruz the nomination

Let me guess..he's "wildly popular" there, right? Just like Florida (17%) and Ohio (13%).

Jeb Bush’s buddy is running this poll and it’s been busted, also Jeb Bush is connected with the Soros group...

“Despite Soro’s leftist ideology, he is still a businessman—and is hedged with Jeb Bush. As Breitbart News revealed, Bush is the Chairman of BH Logistics, a $24M private equity fund incorporated in April 2014. The firm’s major investor is the private Chinese equity firm HNA Group, which has seserve capital of over $58 B. The firm was founded by Chen Feng, on of China’s wealthiest businessmen who owes his career to George Soros. Soros gave Feng the $25M in startup capital to fund HNA. No only is Feng Soros’s business partner but Soros considers him a protégé—they hold multiple investments together. Therefore, Feng’s investment in Jeb Bush is insurance for Soros in the 2016 election.”

Cruz supporters stand firmly with the true Constitutional Conservative. They are not deluded and not rabid (unlike Trump supporters,)but are principled.

I said nothing of the sort. Do you honestly think that with Cruz joining with the GOPe to deny the nomination to Trump, that they will in turn work to place Cruz as the nominee?

Hell no. If Cruz denies Trump the nomination, get ready to decide if you want to vote for Paul Ryan as President in November, because odds are that is who will emerge from Cleveland as the nominee from a brokered convention. And the GOPe will have had their way after getting drubbed this primary cycle.

I have nothing politically against Cruz other than a couple of relatively minor issues - until he recently turned to the GOPe. There is no way he can win 87 percent of the remaining delegates. So he would only be in the race believing that in a brokered convention he would trust the GOPe not to stab him in the back. Pretty naive, quite frankly, given how often they have given the base the shaft after the base put them back in power in 2010 and 2014.

My opinion is that some of the worst offenders ARE NOT trolls. In fact, they have been here a long time. Emotions and convictions are running extremely high right now and some people cannot seem to accept that their particular views aren’t prevalent.

Well, Cruz has been Baptist in the Northeast, Mormon in Utah, perhaps he can align with Catholic prophecies in Arizona and California so he can win there. Or perhaps he will suddenly push his “Hispanic” heritage.
