Pure bs. Cruz’s supporters were around long before Trump ever joined the race. It’s actually the other way around. It is the Trump supporters who have done everything in their power to turn a genuine conservative hero into a villain. It has been the strategy of Trump and his Trump Troopers ever since Trump started in on calling into question Cruz’s elgibility, honesty, integrity, etc. It’s a totally dishonest campaign, and shows the low character of Trump and a large segment of his minion followers.

At first many conservatives like me used to defend Trump until he cravenly turned on the ONE true constitutional conservative Cruz with mean spirited lies. Heck, he even admitted he was hating on Ted because he was getting too close.
Now Trump has been a liar all his life and if he is not telling the truth now and he gets the nomination America is buggered to perdition.
I just can’t join the naive and gullible and believe what Trump NOW says when the stakes are THIS high.
Not when we have the REAL DEAL in Ted Cruz.

I haven’t been on FR too much the last few years and now that I’m back it’s difficult to read what we’re saying about each other. Simply incredible. We’re as divided as the country is divided.

I’m a Cruz supporter.

I haven’t read anything a Trump supporter said about Cruz and his supporters that fits who I am, what I think and what I believe. Everything I’ve read from Trump supporters tells me I don’t want to align with that group.

I’m hoping both the Trump and Cruz groups can step back, take a breath and realize we used to be on the same team.
