Ted Cruz, the opportunist, shows up again. Instead of saying anything about radical Islamists, ISIS, need for better vetting and assimilation, or even praying for the victims ——
He plays political games before the bodies are cold. He says “oh well isn’t it funny NATO HQ city was bombed and Trump yesterday said NATO expenses should be split more evenly, instead of US taxpayers shouldering all the financial burden. He #lying now when he said “Trump wants us to end NATO and withdraw from it”. The lies from this man are unreal. Trump explained the plan on CNN with Wolf Blitzer. Ted has flat out lied. ...

Where was Obama? hillary was asked for comment, and refused. Where was ANYONE else? How come Cruz didn't have a strong determined message, instead of placing the blame on Trump? Oh, yeah, maybe Cruz is an opportunistic jerk.

Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) spoke ..... He mourned with the victims’ families, then pinned the blame on failed leadership both at home and abroad.
“Today’s attacks in Brussels underscores this is a war,” Cruz said. “This is not a lone war. ISIS has declared jihad.”
“It is way past time we have a president who will acknowledge this evil and will call it by its name and use the full force and fury to defeat ISIS,” he continued. “Until they are defeated, these attacks will continue. Their target is each and every one of us.”
“We need a president who sets aside political correctness,” Cruz insisted. “We don’t need another lecture about Islamophobia.”
More than a change in rhetoric, Cruz noted we need a more robust security process. The Brussels attacks, Cruz said, are “the fruit of a failed immigration policy in Europe.”
He did not blame Trump for the attack, but tried to use the situation to attack Trump about wanting the US to be less involved in NATO. Sorry, but NATO is not about fighting domestic terrorism by Islamists that European countries have let into their midst. It was a poorly chosen political point, and unfortunately not the first from Cruz.

Wow, twist things much? And unfortunately, this kind of headline and TWISTED MISINFORMATION is exactly what LOW INFORMATION voters will run on, without looking at the TRUTH of what was said.
What Ted Cruz actually said is: “Well, I will say, it is striking that the day after Donald Trump called for America weakening NATO withdrawing from NATO we see Brussels, where NATO is headquartered, the subject of a radical Islamist terrorist attack. Donald Trump is wrong that America should withdraw from the world and abandon our allies. Donald Trump is wrong that America should retreat from Europe, retreat from NATO, hand Putin a major victory and while he’s at it, hand ISIS a major victory.”
He was not blaming this attack on Trump AT ALL. What he was saying, is that this is more evidence to how Trumps stance on foreign policy and wanting to withdraw from NATO, is a bad idea, because of incidents like the one we have today. IF Trump continues the same lackluster, idiotic foreign policy that Obama has in place (which he will), THIS is the kind of stuff we can look forward to happening, again and again.
READ HIS WORDS PEOPLE. NO WHERE did Cruz say Trump is at fault for what happened today. He is saying Donald Trump is wrong for his stance on foreign policy.
Only an absolute ignoramous would equate what Cruz actually said, to being something akin to blaming Trump for a terrorist attack. And Cruz is the sleazy one? Cruz is the lying one? Cruz is the one who is desperate and pathetic?

Calling out facts is not lying. You can disagree with conclusions drawn from those facts, but facts are stubborn things and don’t go away just because you don’t like them.
Now Cruz aligns with ISIS. Maybe Hilliary will let him be VP.
