For you Cruz apologists, go to the video: He clearly makes a connection between Trump's position on NATO and the terrorist attack. Listen to his words.
Bad enough he blamed Trump for Leftists disrupting Trump's events. Now Cruz is blaming Trump for a terrorist attack by Islamic Jihadis.
Karma for all the times Cruz has misquoted/lied about Trump.
As another FReeper said: “Not actually blaming him, no, but trying to associate the two, yes”.
That is the correct answer.
When you say a Terrorist attack happened and it is “striking” it happened after Trump made a Statement, you are trying to connect that statement to the event. Cruz is a lowlife MF.
I’d rather be a Teddy Bear than a Donald Duck.
It's quite telling that when a leader was needed to provide some assurance and, well, leadership, only Trump was available for comment.
Lyin Ted!!!!
Okay.
Cruz slams Trump in wake of Brussels attack by CNN
http://www.cnn.com/2016/03/22/politics/ted-cruz-donald-trump-brussels-attack-nato/index.html
“
Washington (CNN) Texas Sen. Ted Cruz on Tuesday slammed his GOP presidential rival Donald Trump in the wake of the terrorist attacks in Brussels for calling for a diminished U.S. role in the NATO alliance just a day earlier.
“It is striking that the day after Donald Trump called for weakening NATO, withdrawing from NATO, we see Brussels, where NATO is headquartered, the subject of a radical Islamic terror attack,” Cruz said Tuesday in a news conference hours after terrorists struck civilian targets in Brussels, where the North Atlantic Treaty Organization is headquartered”
I find it striking that Cruzbots first are in denial about all the ridiculous things Cruz has been saying. sorry guys, the most brilliant, conservative, and Christian candidate that ever lived is making a fool of himself every day. And his supporters.
That’s my point. If Trump stands by his comments this is a moot point and he should be thanking Cruz for highlighting his funding cuts for NATO.
“Id rather be a Teddy Bear than a Donald Duck”.
Are you five?
It’s not at all surprising that Ted implicates Donald Trump in the Brussels attack.
He also implicated that Trump was to blame for violent leftist BLM riots.
But, in typical lawyery weasel-word fashion, he didn’t explicitly state “Donald Trump did this,” so his legion of ardent defenders can go around playing Semantic Warriors-In-Training excusing Ted’s comments.
DisgusTED, indeed.
How long do you hold a RED HOT horseshoe before you feel the heat?
You don’t pick it up in the first place.
Don’t be obtuse.
Cruz said it about the attacks, linking - in his mind only - Trump to the attacks.
It’s called desperate politics.
How about sharing where you believe Cruz went down a “dark, dark path”?
Preferably some in context quotes rather than mischaracterizations by his enemies...
More misinformation. Cruz did not blame Trump. He simply questioned Trump’s judgement about possibly withdrawing or limiting our role in NATO the day before the very city NATO is headquartered in is hit by a terrorist attack. They can’t even quote Cruz correctly. I’ll tell you who the liars are. The media that wants Trump to be the nominee so they can turn around and destroy him in the general election because they want Hillary and his blind followers that repeat this garbage trying to score political points at any cost. Trump supporters are using the exact same liberal attacks of the Left, to bring down another true conservative. Try attacking Cruz on substance for a change. Oh wait, when you don’t have substance, you have to rely on this garbage.
Thank you heights!!!! GREAT reply!!!
“Thats my point. If Trump stands by his comments this is a moot point and he should be thanking Cruz for highlighting his funding cuts for NATO.”
You are demenTED.
It’s Lyin’ Ted.
Too early in the AM? Recuperating??
