OK, well if I can’t find a cure soon, I may consider it.
The guy is totally locked in and can’t hear the opposition coming and taking back his occupied territory. Kind of like Hitler maybe. Doesn’t want to hear the bad news and nothing is going to stop him in the meantime if he can help it.

It’s a good thing you didn’t name him after Woodrow. Besides being Illegal (ie All Bassets Must be named Gus) it would be strange “Go call Call in for the night”
Besides “Fun” was Gus’s department (Woodrow didn’t know Fun)

All dogs are wonderful but, this guy was special. When he was ready for bed, he would get up and slowly lumber to the bedroom, his gut going side to side. When we would say, “Goodnight, Gus!” he would come to a complete stop and grunt goodnight and then slowly continue plodding to the bedroom.
I swear he was a blues singer in another life. His favorite thing was to croon along when I would sing in the shower and he would really get into it. He could sing Roberta Flack softly or could belt out raspy with George Strait.
God, I miss him mOrem than life. He was my boy.
What a dog. It looks like Gus was one of the best and that’s hard to do. :)
Next time you see the back of a city bus, call the number there and get a lawsuit going for the damages upon directly looking at the Hillary face. Last person got six figures. Figures with cankles though.
I’m not sure what Trey could have done differently....too big to jail is a huge roadblock...
