Donald Trump's son, Eric, blasted Sen. Ted Cruz on Wednesday over an ad released by an anti-Trump PAC that takes aim at Trump's third wife.
The ad of a scantily clad Melania Trump was circulated in Utah by Make America Awesome PAC, which is not affiliated with the Cruz campaign. But that didn't stop Trump from linking Cruz to the ad on Twitter Tuesday night and threatening to "spill the beans" on the Texas senator's wife, Heidi.
"I noticed this morning ... Ted Cruz is saying things about Melania, and your father fired back," Fox News' Ainsley Earhardt told Eric Trump during an interview Wednesday morning.
Trump responded with the suggestion that Cruz's "super PAC is him" and continued to blast his father's opponent.
"I think it's disgusting to tell you the truth," he told the trio of "Fox & Friends" hosts. "Just to be completely honest, here's a man who praises — he's always talking about morality, I'm going to take the high road, and yet he does that."
"I mean, that's the sick part of politics," Trump said, adding that his stepmother is "an amazing woman."
He continued, "She's solid as a rock. She's an amazing mother. It's sick that [Cruz] did that."

Cruz didn’t.
It’s the Trumps who are liars.
This is specious reasoning. If a group did something repugnant and used my name I would speak out to distance myself. Cruz said “It wasn’t me.” but he didn’t distance himself or take the high ground. He is just fine with lying, cheating and personal attacks on candidates wives. His character is all of one piece and he has pulled the wool over too many eyes.
People want so hard to believe they refuse to examine the evidence that might make them question. Cruz is putting on a show for the voters and behind the scenes he is in bed and in alignment with Global interests. BusTed

That wasn’t your original take. I understand Cruz didn’t “authorize” it. If Trump is to be held responsible for everything (according to BLM Ted) then Cruz is fair game.

Was Cruz classless? YES! But when you attack someone’s wife it’s pretty hard to not seeing it coming back your way in the end! And does anyone think Heidi’s mental instability won’t be used around the world?

Ted Cruz is just another smarmy, lying sleazy politician. No different from most of the others. At least now he has taken off the mask for everyone to see.
Well, when the fine print at the bottom says “Not authorized by any candidate or candidate committee”, that makes any candidate’s family fair game if they don’t denounce it.
If a false flag, then Cruz should get out in front of the situation and defuse it. This is hurting Cruz more than Trump frankly.

No matter how many times stump and his people repeat the lie, Cruz did not run that ad.
Liz Mair's Make America Awesome PAC put out that ad not Cruz. Liz is a former consultant to Scott Walker. She resigned immediately after being hired (i.e. she was fired) for disparaging tweets about Iowa.
If you keep repeating the lie that Ted Cruz put out that ad, you will become the classless, lying, piece-of-work who has gone to a new low.
But Trump is supposed to denounce everything that everyone demands.

Please point me to Trump’s condemnation of Roger Stone’s (Trump ally and surrogate) hit piece on Heidi that came out last week. It looks to me as if Trump’s side started it.

For the record, I’m neutral here. I’m not all that enthusiastic about either Cruz or Trump. I have hesitations about both, but I’ll vote for the nominee. Frankly, if Stone’s piece was accurate, I see it as fair game. And it isn’t Ted’s fault Trump’s wife is immodest. That’s her past and, like it or not, when he declared for the presidency, it should have been expected people would delve into it.
