Who the heck told Beck that this git-up (first pic in your post) was a good look for him?? It looks ridiculous, clownish. I've pointed out before on FR that I believe a candidate should wear a suit and tie at each appearance as Trump does (occasionally he'll skip the tie, but rarely), instead of a Bass Pro fleece pullover and jeans like Cruz usually wears. What you wear shows the level of respect you have for your audience. Also, as candidate, I would require my guest accompanying me, as Beck accompanies Cruz, to wear a suit and tie.

People often talk about what is and what is not presidential, and I would say it begins with one's attire. And as the old saying goes, "Dress like the job you WANT, not like the job you have or had" (In other words Beck doesn't need to dress like a 21 year old Shock Jock/Morning Zoo personality on KISS-FM or whatever which is the job he had until he was middle aged and became a born-again talk-radio host (I also wonder who the hell told him he had any talent at that?). I seriously doubt he read a book in his life until he decided he'd do talk-radio. And certainly no book or history related to conservatism or politics.

Cruz will not dump Beck because he serves the purpose of hatchet man to Cruz. Beck does the dirty work for Cruz so that Cruz can keep on polishing his halo and saintly image. This is getting to be a pattern with Cruz he hides behind others.

It looks like Bloomberg tried to find out more about the reclusive family but their religion is hidden. The father and daughter, Rebekah, apparently donated to a Christian college but it was not named so that could mean any denomination, sect, or cult.
