Megyn Kelly hit out at Donald Trump Thursday morning after he retweeted an unflattering picture of Ted Cruz's wife Heidi.
Kelly, who has been the victim of many a Trump attack herself, posted Trump's retweet on her own Twitter account and wrote; 'Seriously?'
The photo reweeted by Trump showed Heidi next to a very flattering image of Trump's model wife Melania and read; 'No need to "spill the beans." The images are worth a thousand words.'
He posted the photo just one day after threatening to 'spill the beans' on Heidi after a super PAC backing Cruz released an advert showing his wife Melania naked from a photo spread she did back in 2000 for the men's magazine GQ.

The PAC that sent out this add wouldn’t care what Cruz thought of it because it has no affiliation whatsoever with his campaign. It is strictly an establishment PAC that was set up to take Trump down - it would happily run pro Kasich adds in any state that it looked like Kasich had a good chance of winning.
If Trump becomes President, I may have to turn my tv off for the next 4 years. His nasty, sophomoric actions is the least presidential I have ever seen.

I agree - it has to be Trump at this point. I thought earlier in the week it was over, but this thing with Cruz's wife.... It just isn't smart.
Trump is a strong enough personality at the top of the ticket that I really don't care who the veep is as long as it helps him win the general election. As much as FR makes it look like his major problem are some hardline-conservatives, his bigger problem is going to be suburban voters, particularly women.
But even if Trump picks someone other than Cruz as his veep, it still isn't helpful to keep up with the schoolyard stuff. Trump's smartest move right now would be to start saying nice things about Cruz and Kasich. It would being to disarm the most powerful argument they have against him, and might start to change the "trump is a mean bully" narrative before the Convention.

Leaving aside the merits/demerits of this matter, I consider Mizz Kelly a noisy and pretentious nobody who is forever injecting herself into matters that are none of her business.
In this case I think she was right to comment. Trump was being a misognynistic bully and you had better believe that the democrats will eat him alive with this stuff if we are foolish enough to nominate him. Honestly, enough of us conservatives hate him for this that I can’t imagine it will be hard for the democrats to turn off swing voters with his history of attacking women.
That might be Heidi’s most sexy pose. I don’t see any drool in the pic.

As for history, Lord Acton, a wise man, opined that “good men are never great men”; as history clearly attests. So Trump is nasty and sophomoric. And so what!
Was Julius Caesar a swell guy w/proper schooling, breeding and manners? How about, Winston Churchill, a drunkard. Or Otto Von Bismarck who cashiered Prussian Generals w/o pause. Douglas MacArthur, conceited, pompous and vain was intolerant of dissent. None of them were nice guys but all were dynamic movers and shakers who will resonate for eternity.

Cruz is too smart to throw his campaign away dealing with half-asked PACs.

Nope. Trump’s wife was on Foxnews being interviewed by Greta at her house and she avoided attacking Cruz from what I saw. Also the same on other interviews that I’ve seen.
You need more than you “Foxnews” to validate your claims.
