Sen. Ted Cruz 97% says “Donald Trump may be a rat but I have no desire to copulate with him.”

Stone, a former adviser to Trump, has been labeled by some in the media as a “rat*ucker” due to using dirty political tricks when he worked in the Nixon administration.

BTW, the only way for a person with NPD to heal is to admit they have a problem. It has the lowest rate of therapy success of all the mental issues in the field since they will NEVER admit to having it.

No, he said that he didn’t want to copulate with Donald the rat. but he would like to copulate with a man in general. That is how I read it anyway. YMMV.

If I had to guess, he was trying to get the effect of saying “I have no desire to f**k with him” without actually saying the F word.
“Screw with him” probably would have sufficed, or “mess with him” if that was too racy. But copulate seems to be the word of the day. Is there a #copulate twitter name?
Does this headline mean that he would copulate with other rats?
Ted has gone off the rails.
I didn’t say that Trump had anything to do with the Ted Cruz sex scandal story. I was simply noting that Trump lured both Rubio and Cruz into unseemly discussions (the size of Trump’s “hands” or copulation with Trump/rats) and both of them began to look completely unhinged.
My take is that Cruz is at the level, similar to Obama, at which saying a thing makes it true. For instance, if Obama says his administration has been the most transparent in history, this becomes a fact in his mind. Evidence may prove the opposite, but for Obama truth remains whatever he says it is.
Take Cruz. He says he’s never supported legalization. He put out a tweet to his own followers advocating mass legalization. But for Cruz, since he NOW says he never favored legalization, that has become objective truth.
Iow, narcissism to the degree that disconnects from reality. I’d call that a high level.

He may be a wel educated guy who got caught, we don’t know yet.
That’s my interpretation, as well, but in this context the vernacular “screw with” would have come off much less icky (to use mrs riverdawg’s phrase) than the literal “copulate with.”
Ted could have ended mud wrasslin’ this before it got legs by immediately apologizing to Melania and Donald Trump, demanding the PAC stop the ad, and demanding the PAC apologize as well.
Why didn’t he?
Did he think that he would benefit by letting a crap slinging war get started?
Did he think his secrets were really secret?
Whatever the reason, he and his PAC opened up a can of Whoop-Ass and he will probably come out with the smelly end of the stick.
Bottom line - it was wrong of his PAC to run the ad and even more wrong for him to not immediately disavow the ad and the guilty parties.
Wow, Cruz went there. Didn’t know he was a switch hitter. Why would that cross any normal man’s mind?
