Ted Cruz Mistress Crisis – Apparently There’s Video
theconservativetreehouse.com ^ | March 25

Posted on 03/26/2016 12:35:50 AM PDT by Helicondelta

Yesterday, as the entire Cuban Mistress Crisis was simmering to a boil, it was discovered that weeks ago a large number of Marco Rubio operatives and supporters were trying to bring the sex scandal story to the MSM attention.

Under the open guise of #TheThing they were communicating via various twitter feeds and following along to see if the story had been picked up. Most of the activity was centered around March 10th – March 15th.

Yesterday the hashtag CruzSexScandal went viral. Today, many of those DC operatives, participants, supporters, consultants, Super-PAC’s and campaign advisors have spent a great deal of time deleting their (The Thing) participation. The peak of their scrubbing coincided with Senator Ted Cruz accusing Donald Trump of planting the story.

Obviously, the Rubio Clan didn’t want to see themselves outed as the originating entities.

Virtually everyone in the blog-o-sphere who supported Marco Rubio was active, tweeting, re-tweeting, or following the events related to #TheThing. Now they’re running for cover and trying to hide their fingerprints.

However, interestingly one of the now deleted “tweets” was from Rick Wilson, who stated the owner of “The Thing” should just upload it to You Tube and the reporters could “discover it” there.

I see something in his eyes, his facial expressions his hand gestures that makes me feel uneasy.

I got to shake his hand once at a rally, it was weird.

It’s better for anything to come out now. The Clintons wouldn’t hesitate to bring it out in the general election.

There is ZERO substance to this story.
It is carefully written to avoid litigation.
But those who are predisposed to accept this junk are drooling over it.
No proof. Lots of drool.

Then the leftist hacker group Anonymous claims there is a video Doesn’t release the video. Just threatens it.

Turns out that the whole thing is a GOP-Rubio fabrication. Almost no one here understands that once Cruz has been smeared that they will go after Trump with everything they’ve got.

So Freepers are now giving the National Enquirer legitimacy and are letting Anonymous select our nominee. The GOPe smear machine owns your brain

The FreeRepublic has gotten really stupid

I’ve heard that term a lot in my youth 50 years ago in the 50s....I have never thought of it solely associated with “political muckraking or dirty tricks.”

I look at it as political insiders thinking they’ve done or invented something new when all they do is really leech off the sweat of others.

“I have never been able to put my finger on it there is just a slime factor there!!!”........

Well for starters he is an attorney, that should be good for a good amount of points on the slime chart.

Ted Cruz gives a whole new meaning to the job title “Solicitor General”. ;-)

Wondering if Rubio really was aware of something like this, did he have his own thing

That handshake at the debate between Rubio and Cruz didn't even come with a kiss...

AND, What did glen know and when did he know it?

I'm being sort of serious here...because no one was making beck go away even after his stabby remarks.

WHY NOT?

...”The most revealing thing has been Cruz’s reaction to all this. Put yourself in Cruz’s shoes. If you were unjustly accused by a national magazine, especially of something this terrible, what would your reaction be? I would be shouting my innocence from the rooftops. I would demand a retraction. I would demand to know what evidence they had so I could refute it. I would demand to know their sources, so I could face my accusers. I would have my lawyers working overtime so they could be at the courthouse with a libel suit within a few hours. Cruz hasn’t done any of this.

Instead, he went on TV, hardly mentioned the National Enquirer, blamed everything on Trump, Trump. Trump, and then bizarrely, started talking about copulating with rats.

That is not the response I expect from a righteous man unjustly accused. That is the response I expect from a guilty man who’s seeing his political career going up in flames and has no idea how to stop it.”...

Very insightful.

Exactly!

Videos? We don't need no stinking videos. We have cover stories from that highly reputable National Enquirer about a GOP presidential candidate's numerous adulterous affairs already. Chuckle!

GQ Editor Recalls Donald Trump Wife's Controversial Nude Photo Shoot

“Alongside the increasingly playground-like tussle between Trump and Cruz, the re-emergence of the nude photo has actually angered Verglas.”

"I never gave any approval for this image to be used anywhere else but GQ in the U.K. It puts me in a very weird situation as I have to protect my intellectual property and the privacy of Melania Trump," the photographer says, adding that he's already talking to his attorney. "I don't want those pictures to be used in certain ways which are inappropriate."

Why would anyone have to purchase it when it is all over the web? I’ve seen that same picture & meme, minus the Vote for Cruz line at the bottom for quite some time, some posted here as being a “good” thing like (Melania would be a great 1st Lady because she’s so smokin hot”) along with ones like this from the dems.

BTW – Did Trump purchase or get permission for this before he tweeted it?

You presume things about Ted when there is contrary evidence

You still did not answer the question

Avoidance may work for most politicians We will see if it does for Ted

“No, the timing is the key. The timing was not an accident. This was known long ago, but Ted had to knock out all of the viable Christian candidates first. It is possible the entire Cruz campaign’s purpose was to neuter the influence of Christian voters.”

I was thinking about the timing too...having it published now both gets it out (so it’s ‘old news’ in November) and allows him to blame Trump. I wouldn’t put that past Cruz, at this point.

“In a bombshell world exclusive, The National ENQUIRER has learned that U.S. Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia’s death was a highly planned “political assassination” orchestrated by the CIA and carried out by a $2,000-a-night hooker! A top Washington, D.C. source said the Feb. 13 death of the 79-year-old jurist at a remote Texas ranch just 15 miles from Mexico was part of a “shocking conspiracy that tracks back to the CIA and the White House!” “

That would explain why they didn’t even have an autopsy...something VERY SUSPICIOUS for an unexpected death of even a non-public figure.

Dead-on - the problem Cruz has is that he has no clue as to just how much evidence is out there - if he tries hitting National Enquirer, they may go the next step, so at least he’s smart enough not to go there.

I am waiting for Trump that the NE Publisher Mr Pecker is one of his good friends and that his other good friend Roger Stone is the only person on the record in the article.

How sad these 2 naive guys were tricked by nasty rubio agents into publishing this story.

Funny stuff from the spinning trumpanzees.

Why would anyone have purchase it is in your post. The photographer will sue the sCruz PAC that used the photo.

However the quote I read about who purchased the right to use the photo came from the editor at GQ
