Yesterday, as the entire Cuban Mistress Crisis was simmering to a boil, it was discovered that weeks ago a large number of Marco Rubio operatives and supporters were trying to bring the sex scandal story to the MSM attention.
Under the open guise of #TheThing they were communicating via various twitter feeds and following along to see if the story had been picked up. Most of the activity was centered around March 10th – March 15th.
Yesterday the hashtag CruzSexScandal went viral. Today, many of those DC operatives, participants, supporters, consultants, Super-PAC’s and campaign advisors have spent a great deal of time deleting their (The Thing) participation. The peak of their scrubbing coincided with Senator Ted Cruz accusing Donald Trump of planting the story.
Obviously, the Rubio Clan didn’t want to see themselves outed as the originating entities.
Virtually everyone in the blog-o-sphere who supported Marco Rubio was active, tweeting, re-tweeting, or following the events related to #TheThing. Now they’re running for cover and trying to hide their fingerprints.
However, interestingly one of the now deleted “tweets” was from Rick Wilson, who stated the owner of “The Thing” should just upload it to You Tube and the reporters could “discover it” there.

There is no moral equivalency here. Trump has been upfront about his past and isn’t running on the Jesus ticket. Trump is a lot of things, but he’s not a hypocrite.
It was Cruz’s campaign who said they would “show this country the face of the God we serve.” People can forgive a sinner, but not a hypocrite who uses God to advance his worldly goals.
Whatever Cruz (either one) thinks or says- it is the opposite. We damn sure don’t need a Goldman Sachs VP in the White House. I damn sure do not want to hear anymore tales from Rafael of the “Chosen One” and all their praying. Tomorrow is Easter and these two are sick.

I was thinking the same thing. His response wasn't denial. It was a weird attack.

I believe this is WHY Heidi had her breakdown!!! Just a gut feeling but I think this story is true!!! There is just SOMETHING about Cruz that I feel very uneasy about!!! I have never been able to put my finger on it there is just a slime factor there!!!
Cruz is basically a Hispanic Steve Urkel and doesn't know how to insult people or do anything right for that matter.

Feelings, nothing more than feelings, you have no substance, only vague comparisons that are not even close to being valid. Lemme see, Bill was caught cheating with a 21 yo intern in the Oval Office. Hillary was caught using a private server to conduct Gov’t business, including mishandling classified information. The Clinton Foundation accepted donations there are tied to pay-to-play schemes while Hillary was Secretary of State.
Ted Cruz is a true blue conservative. What is wrong with you dude? Cruz wants to institute a flat tax, creating 4M jobs in the first year alone. He wants to approve the XL Keystone pipeline (Trump is against that). Ted wants to reverse every unconstitutional executive order signed by Obummer. He wants to abolish the IRS which had become a tool of the Executive Branch to “punish our enemies.” Ted will appoint a real conservative to the SCOTUS. If another liberal is appointed, our 2nd amendment rights are in jeopardy. Ted will try to reverse the corruption in Gov’t, end the crony capitalism, neutralize the liberals being installed in powerful positions at every cabinet level, the DoD, FBI, DoJ, and the Pentagon. All of the good Military leaders have been sacked. So I ask you again, what is wrong with you, dude?

I’m still waiting for someone (Trump) to point out the fact that the National Enquirer was the singular publication to find and get right the affair of one other relatively recent crooked politician, namely one Silky Pony John Edwards. Story in the Enquirer doesn’t mean it is wrong.

No, he wasn’t. He never said that or anything like it, and no one in his campaign did either. You are as responsible for a lie you repeat as the person is for starting it.

My take is that he instinctively substituted "copulate with" for the "F"-bomb there, using the meaning of "mess with." With that substitution, he sees Trump as a rat, but he isn't going to "mess with" Trump, the way that (he claims) Trump is messing with Cruz and Cruz's family.
