I thought you had aimed something at people taking the Cruz allegations seriously, and that you were saying ‘what difference does it make’ ... maybe in fact you were mocking people who take the ‘what difference does it make’ justification ... either way - sounds like I might have misunderstood.

No I get it now. Little trigger happy, and often people request I add a sarc tag. I hate the sarc tag ... It ruins the whole point of the sarcasm. But not using it comes with risks which are usually easily ironed out.
