Apparently this story has been out there for a while but the media refused to cover it. It seems that the Rubio people were pitching it to the media for months.

I don't know how much of the story is true or untrue. I think we should give Cruz the benefit of the doubt until we know for certain.

What I do know is that the Enquirer has been accurate with such stories in the past. They have been much more accurate than the MSM. John Edwards, Jennifer Flowers and many other cases were accurately published in the Enquirer and lied about in the MSM.

That does not mean anything said about Cruz is true. Cruz should be given the benefit of the doubt.

Nah, but let’s all be gossip mongers anyway. I mean, a queer named “Sundance” must know whereof she speaks, right?

“...but the media refused to cover it.”

BRRRRMMMMP! BRRRMMMP! BRRRMMMP!

BS meter just went off the scale. NO WAY would the media have not covered such a story about Cruz. Period.

Right.
Let’s not give the National Enquirer legitimacy and let the hacker group Anonymous select our nominee

This story has no substance at all

It doesn’t even deserve a “let’s wait and see”
It deserves to be ignored. Unless you still believe Elvis is being held in a UFO

Ted Cruz gives a whole new meaning to the job title “Solicitor General”. ;-)

Oh the irony. Ted was Cruzified on Good Friday.

But the similarity ends there. In this story, you won’t find a Wise Man or a Virgin. ;-)

Cruz’s campaign needs to contact Bubba for advice on how to handle bimbo eruptions.

Here are a few more rather interesting cover stories from that New gold standard of journalism, “super trusted”, “very reliable” (for demented Trump bots) National Enquirer...about Donald Trump's countless (not just 3 or 5 or whatever the heck the Trump bots can make up) adulterous affairs going back DECADES:

I’m not really sure what to make of this, actually. There is some very odd behavior here on the part of the Cruz campaign that seems more deflection and diversion than focusing in on the base problem.

Likewise, the Trump side isn’t blameless, either.

I do know this: 1) The media actively conspired to hide the John Edwards affair in the proud tradition of Clinton, Kennedy and Roosevelt, 2) The media aches to submit to their own personal advancement agendas but are under unwritten orders to comply on the coverup, and 3) At the first inkling that the dam is breached, they en masse start attacking like hyenas to get their own personal part of that wildebeest.

Maybe there is a real “there” there; maybe there isn’t. The one thing that confounds me is Drudgereport’s silence on this. I have a hard time in believing it is just jealousy against National Enquirer and not wanting to drive business to them.

We shall see what we shall see. This story has legs, warranted or not and it will play out oblivious to what we all think here either way.

Wondering if Rubio really was aware of something like this, did he have his own thing

That handshake at the debate between Rubio and Cruz didn't even come with a kiss...

AND, What did glen know and when did he know it?

I'm being sort of serious here...because no one was making beck go away even after his stabby remarks.

WHY NOT?

I agree in principal what you say, but in my heart I know this is true. Cruz as a very sharp lawyer would have demanded a retraction and threatened lawsuit by now. He was aware this story was going to break evidently. The fact that all he did is deny and blame Trump, who most likely truly had nothing to do with this is damning.

Presidential candidates have affairs. We can get over that.

But, a Presidential Candidate sex tape would break new ground, even for US politics.

Trump always gets the benefit of the doubt, so...oh wait.

I agree, don’t believe anything without proof.

The Carpenter thing, though, is creepy: both publicly sport the same Churchill tattoo the same day? WTH?
