When Levin and Rush stopped claiming Cruz follows the 'original intent' of the Constitution they exposed their crony capitalism.... Rush dining secretly with Schumer and Graham to get 'amnesty' talking points back in 2011... ended his career as a conservative spokesman. The Constitution is meaningless to them.

Yes, and I think the Great Schism occurred when Trump torpedoed former President Bush in the debate. Rush spent a night in the White House and he's might proud of that. So I suspect Trump's comment was the final straw. Fine, we don't need Rush anymore. His bridge was valuable to us at one time, but we crossed that bridge and we're now on a higher plane of thinking -- Pro-America, protect your own, Self-reliance.
