Oh, interesting, they changed it. No doubt someone complained; after all, the occasion of a baby’s birth is not time to disparage the infant’s heritage.
When I linked to the page from FR, there was the headline on top of the layout, something like “Ivanka gives birth to third child”... not sure of exact words, but a normal statement with her name. Then some little circles which I think are the standard FB and other links. Immediately under that, in bold type but a bit smaller than the headline, were the words, in black type, “AS IF THE WORLD NEEDS ANOTHER TRUMP”. It may have been “AS IF WE NEED...” or such, but I am pretty much quoting almost verbatim.
So, just to reiterate so you don’t think I’m seeing things, VF has it out for Trump. Maybe a staffer could not resist the sarcasm, as they are so jaded and slanted they don’t realize the average reader is not consumed with hatred.
Over the past several months I have discovered by reading the magazine cover to cover (and then cancelling it) that their “editorial position” is vehemently and blatantly anti-Trump. They make no pretense of neutrality (of course it’s a left-wing publication). The famous editor personally excoriates Trump in his column, then they have a feature that varies but is called “What’s up with stupid” and things like that, and it lists and makes fun of various Trump quotes.
Of course VF with it’s Hollywood focus routinely excoriates 3 things: guns, conservatives, pro-life. This month Republicans are chastised for not knowing the Statue of Liberty was based upon (in part) a muslim woman model. (As if anyone knows that and who cares?) But they have gone recently from this generally extreme view to a specific attack on Trump the candidate and Trump the man.
P.S. The current subtitle is also sarcastic and insulting, albeit in a more subtle manner, being an allusion to the Psalm and implying Trump thinks he is God and this baby is a “son” (grandson, heir) of God.

Rare that the name “James” is assigned even as a middle name in a Jewish family. Must have been a concession to the Trumps.
Why o why would they name the kid Ted in the middle of this crazy and nasty fight with another Ted? Of all names to choose. That is so out there. Oy vey.
If you notice, all the names of her children are anglo, which surprises me because they are nice names, but I would expect a David or something by the 2nd boy, with a Jewish father.
Oy veh.....
I will prefer to think of Teddy Roosevelt when I read about the baby...ya know, "speak firmly and carry a big stick"...like his grandpa.
