So, the accusations are (so I can keep this straight) Ted Cruz is a wild horndog who can’t keep it in his pants, and Donald allegedly played a dirty trick. Is that about right? Seems like whether Donald did him durrrrty or not he still needs to respond to the substance of the allegations.

I don't know about Ted being a "wild horndog" but everyone seems to ignore the fact that when Donald Trump has something to say to somebody, he says it himself. He didn't get a tabloid or some ringer to call Jeb Bush "low energy", he did it himself, right up in Jeb's smarmy face. To arrange something on the sly like nudging the National Enquirer to run this story is simply not Trump's style, and as has been pointed out already by FReeper Luircin at post #74, the timing is awful because Easter weekend is hardly the weekend to release a story for maximum exposure.

I stated early on in this brouhaha (and nobody in the media gave ME credit, WAH! lol) that what Cruz needed to do was to make the following statements:

1.) "I have been faithful to my wife Heidi during the course of our marriage"

2.) "I have never had an affair, a mistress or mistresses"

3.) "I demand an apology and retraction of this story from the National Enquirer immediately"

4.) "If an apology and retraction is not forthcoming, my legal team will begin proceedings against the National Enquirer"

THAT is all Cruz had to do. Blaming Trump for everything that goes wrong in his life is a loser's strategy.
