Heidi Cruz cancels N.J. campaign events

A Cruz has again canceled on New Jersey.

Heidi Cruz, the wife of Republican presidential candidate Ted Cruz, had planned to hold a fundraiser in Morris County on Wednesday and attend several campaign events across the state.

But a local Cruz campaign activist announced that she will be postponing her New Jersey appearances.

Scott DeCristofaro, a New Jersey contact for the Cruz campaign, issued a press release Monday announcing the cancelation of a Heidi Cruz rally in Haddon Heights. DeCristofaro said she is also canceling her other New Jersey events and plans to come back to New Jersey after Wisconsin's April 5 primary.

Ted Cruz in December canceled an event in Rahway where he had planned to announce his New Jersey leadership team.

Heidi Cruz has been the subject of recent Twitter attacks by her husband's primary rival Donald Trump, who has blamed Cruz for an anti-Trump super PAC's ad featuring an old, racy photo of his own wife.

I can picture Cruzbots saying to themselves how they could have been so stupid to have been conned by the Bang-of-8 candidate because he seemed so principled? This would be the question if he were guilty of doing the nasty with all the babes.

For the sake of their beautiful children, I hope this whole infidelity thing is not true.

That said, if it is true, it shows the uselessness of the RNC. If they can’t and won’t properly vet those who run under the name of their party - before primary voting begins, what role do they play? I don’t want them altering the will of the voters, but I do think that there should be a proper vetting process before the primaries even begin. I guess the same was true for the DNC (e.g. Hart and Edwards).

It appears that politicians represent one of the most flawed professional classes in society, and therefore the vetting should be especially stringent.

I said, when W Bush said he 'didn't like cRuz', that it was all taqqiya. Just cover to distract from the Heidi/cRuz-Bush connection and "outsider" ruse.

She is going to campaign with her husband.

Can you blame them? A wackjob in New York is attacking her and accusing her husband of adultery.

It’s a natural reaction for a campaign to want to present them unified.

>>She knows.<<

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Duh.

She’s now acting like a wife who has been humiliated by her husband (not by Trump).

I heard she banned Pierson a while back from working for Cruz in Texas. That was before Katrina became a Trump spokesman. Heidi probably gave Ted the ultimatum at that time, and he blew it.

Now he’s joined Bill Clinton in that particular section of Hell where politicians go to live who somehow have to get their wives to make nice in public after their bad behavior.

He does have young children. Dragging them all over the country has to take its’ toll. They need a break. he isn’t going to win New Jersey anyway.

Heidi is cancelling all campaign events because of a single Trump retweet?

Where did you see a report that she was cancelling all campaign events?
